mfc-j9700w, no matter what i did not one of the 24 inks chips could be read by the printer, blocking me from using them as is" removed the black plastic side and replaced it with a real brother chip plastic half, problem was solved, few prints later printer detects tamperd ink cartage and blocks again, now the inks are useless as is, lol removed ink from the ganeric peace holding ink and pushd it into a real brother ink cartage, problem sovld again, few prints later printer detects refilld brother inks!! in the end i ended up orderding a brother chip reset tools" i dont think the problem is with the inks them selfs but, brother co. is setting there printers to block you from you buying other inks.

Cartridges arrived sooner than expected. I loaded a set of cartridges into my MFC-J6520DW and printed a test page. The print quality is acceptable. The printed test page did include a warning that the printed may not work as expected and suggested purchasing a set of recommended cartridges.I am satisfied with the price performance of the print cartridges especially since I mostly use the scanning feature of the printer and only do the occasional greyscale print.

So far these ink cartridges have worked well. They fit right into my Brother MFC-J475DW Fax/Printer. The color copies are actually not bad at all and the best thing about it is the price. I think the price is well worth it I am satisfied with this product.

I could not get my brother 450 to work without difficulty. Zero instructions on how to change the cartridge. Maybe I'm just too old for this stuff but by 2014 this techy stuff ought to be easier. I shouldn't have to look through the troubleshoot guides to change a print cartridge.

The printer I ordered these cartridges for had a firmware upgrade which made these cartridges useless. Apparently Brother made a firmware upgrade that would not allow generic cartridges to be used in the printer. I have a new Brother MFC-J870DW. The reason I am giving this review 5 stars is because Blake Printing Supply is the best company to work with. I called them immediately about the issue and they sent me a new order of cartridges with the upgraded microchip that allows the cartridges to work in the Brother printers with the firmware update. Blake Printing Supply is the best company to work with and I really appreciate the less expensive price of these cartridges. Once you use three sets of cartridges you have saved enough money to buy a new printer. The Brother OEM cartridges are ridiculously expensive. I hope Blake Printing Supply stays in business for a long time.

Ink leaks and not a good product

I would give 5 stars but I have not used any of the ink yet. It appears as if they will provide the quality and life I need. They arrived with the printer. Shipping was very prompt.

Too soon to tell...but they installed without a problem in my Brother MFC J870DW printer. I printed the test and two other pages with photos on plain paper. The results were remarkable. Thanks Amazon and Blake for a great deal and savings.

This would be a great deal if they all worked in my printer. It’s hit or miss if the printer’s soft wear will recognize this recycled ink cartridge. I’ve had to discard many of them because they would not work.
