Tested on both drawer types and went with the wider drawer. This organizer easily slides out so you have more space to put utensils or cooking tools in. It even fit my longer wooden spoons. I've had mine for a couple of weeks now and its given my drawer a clean wood smell which has been nice. It's also easy to clean, just wipe down. This organizer really does hold a lot of my cooking utensils, with space.

The color is true to pic. It easily fit our 12 person setting which is a very chunky set. This also holds steak knives and some additional items. It does have slight smell so I kept the drawer open all day and now gone. The only issue was a slight imperfection which looks like the finish set weird in a spot and it is gritty. I don’t see it impacting our use so long as it is sealed well.

Solid bamboo,super durable & smooth finish. The organizer is expandable when need it be. currently using it in the kitchen and it fits in the draw perfectly. Makes looking for a spoon and utensils a whole lot easier. def a good addition to the kitchen.

Love this thing! First, it’s bamboo, it’s study, it’s adjustable, it looks very nice, the slot spacing for utensils is perfect. This is also very easy to clean. I highly recommend - especially over plastic.

I can not state for Durability since its new and just started using. It seems to be constructed well and I usually tell how good a product is by the warranty. If it has a year or less, the manufacturer I feel has no faith in their product durability. Just my opinion.

My wife loves this thing. Had to trim a little to make it fit. Now it fits exactly. Looks much better than our old plastic unit.

Has only 5 - 7 compartments not the 6 - 8 claimed in the title and images. Was too sparse without the extra compartment so I returned it. Seemed reasonably sturdy and well-built for the price, though. I did not take off the plastic.
