Not made in the USA
I'll give it 4 stars until I get a chance to use it more extensively. My issue is that they mention being a US company several times yet the power cable is manufactured in China. Rather misleading and I'm a bit upset by it. I would have paid more for a cable actually made in the USA. I'm not saying it's a bad cable, for now. Only that the whole USA based company is misleading.

Quality for price!
I havenโt listened to my Jolida amp yet. Quality of the cable and price point are outstanding

I was a skeptic, but not anymore.
I was skeptical that a power cord could make much if any difference at all, but figured there were enough companies offering Hi-Fi cords and comments from people I knew that I figured it was worth a try. At worst case, I'd return them and just be out the shipping cost. I bought a .6 meter one for a bass preamplifier and a 2 meter one for the power amp.I tried the one for the preamp first. It was a bit louder at the same settings and just seemed slightly fuller in sound. I still had some hiss turning the volume up most of the way, but no worse than before. Swapped back and forth and it definitely was the new cord. Then I plugged the power amp using the new cord, and that hiss I associated with turning up the preamp was definitely reduced. The hiss I was hearing was through the power amp. The sound also improved, but in a subtle way. I could definitely tell the difference. This was no placebo effect.Bass takes a lot of power and the power capacitors and transformers have to have enough power in reserve to handle peaks. I have a line conditioner and the voltage was within normal range so everything should have been getting enough of clean power. I couldn't believe that a higher capacity shielded power cable would make any difference at all. It definitely did for me.Worth the money? Definitely. If you have really good gear, this is more than worth the price. If you have low end gear, then I'm not sure the difference would be that dramatic. It might improve it, but only as much as the weakest link. I would have never have thought that my weakest link was the power cord.

I still can't believe my ears...
Based on a whim after reading a review thread of the SMSL SP200, I decided to buy this to see if somehow it would make some sort of difference, despite my strong assumption that it wouldn't; I've always considered people who say cords make a difference as foolish. Maybe with audio cables that still holds true, but I simply can't believe my ears in this case: this power cord absolutely makes a difference in how my amp sounds. Despite my skepticism, I'm telling you that my amp now puts out slightly cleaner mids and distinctly cleaner bass.I don't know a whole lot about how electricity works, but I know enough to understand how EMI and unstable power can interfere with the signals going through the DAC and amp, but I just didn't think my short power cables would have any issues... I figured I'd buy this and almost immediately return it; that is definitely not going to happen, now that I've directly compared this to the stock cable. Again, I'm using this with the SMSL SP200, and all the cables are going behind the desk along with all my monitor and PC cables; it's quite possible that in a situation with much less power flowing around it, or with a different amp that has a better stock cable, that the difference wouldn't be so pronounced.

Small but Audible Improvements
If you've made the investment in quality source components, upgrading stock cables is the next logical step. I added this Pangea AC-14 power cord to my Marantz SA-KI Ruby SACD player and came away impressed. It's not a dramatic difference to the presentation, but there's an audible reduction in noise. There's also a tighter focus on ambient detail and bass response. The cable is well-built and flexible, which is nice for routing to a power strip or conditioner. A reasonable period of break-in improved the sound further. It's worth picking up if you're in the market for a (relatively) inexpensive power cable upgrade for a CD player or DAC.

Impressed
A little expensive compared to a regular cable (though cheap compared to many audiophile cables) but so far it has stopped my computer/audio interface system from freezing/glitching which is why I bought it. In terms of sound quality, I was skeptical of the marketing phrase "isolated bass conductors" but I do notice music having slightly wider bandwidth which is enjoyable. Its connectors are very sturdy and the cable is quite thick.

Moderate thickness, well shielded, and not too stiff
This cable is much thicker than most cables that ship with home theater or audio equipment. From an electrical standpoint it is surely overkill, but there's no harm in having extra shielding. I purchased this one to prevent noise and interference in crowded setup with many power cables nearby.Pangea AC-14 cables are about twice as thick as many bundled cables, but half as thick as various cables marketed for power amps. Their moderate size has real world advantages, such as being flexible enough for actual installation and for avoiding stress on device sockets. It also isn't so large that it colors the tone of amplifiers (e.g., over smoothing or killing the high end). Remember that your wall wiring is a standard size and not massive, so a short wall cable has limited electrical value.

These power cords work
I have a very expensive 2 channel amplifier that pulls a lot of current. The cord I bought had to have the high current IEC style connector. I find that this amp has to be plugged directly into the wall. Plugging it into a power conditioner constrains the sound. I have used the stock power cord for years and always wanted to try an upgraded cord but didn't want to spend big dollars just learn it made no difference. This pangea cord looked good and cost wasn't bad so I gave it a try. The construction is excellent. The cord is the size of a water hose. It looks fantastic. The plugs are molded so that this cord doesn't have that bolt together like it was made in a garage look. The verdict: Noise floor dropped. I thought the amp was quiet before but everything just got quieter. That makes the music sound better. So this cord made the music sound better. I'm glad it made the choice to try one.
