Wildcat Cat Toy Teaser Wand. Handmade in Montana USA by CoolCyberCats and every part used in its manufacturer is from the USA. The Wildcat wand is sure to bring out the Wildcat in your cat!The Wildcat wand is approximately 18 inches long and has a 43 inch (approximately) braided wire. The wire is nylon coated, so it will not fray and the metal is not exposed. The body is a SOLID color acrylic and comes in many different colors - you will receive the color at random. Some of the colors are translucent and in bright light have a sort of neon glow to them. The base of the wand has a 4 inch grip so it is easier to hold and more comfortable over long play sessions. Comes with a CoolCyberCats Deer Snake attachment. The Snake attachment averages 10 to 12 inches long and is made from Deer hair & leather. The connection to the wand is via strong cord loop at the nose of the Snake. With the Wildcat wand you can make the attachments creep and sneak around as you pull it along the floor mimicking the movements of small rodents, or make them leap, spin and fly to your cats delight. Your cat will become a Wildcat while he tries to catch the attachments! As with ALL cat toys, please supervise play and put away when not in use.For supervised interactive play only. Please keep the wand and attachments stored safely out of reach from your cat when not in use with play.

Better than GoCat
My cat goes crazy over the Go Cat Cat Chaser wands and decided to try this because it looked similar. I honestly like it better than the GoCat version. The wand and line are longer which allows for further out play. Plus my one cat will chew the mice apart from Go cat until it's just a tub. While he has chewed on this one *most* of the mouse has remained intact.

Our cat absolutely loses her mind over this toy!
So much to like about this design:1 - the mouse construction is sturdy. It is mostly dense brush and not a sewn stuffed toy, meaning the cat can claw and bite it yet not shred it. The tail of leather thong is also attached securely and withstands her deep instinct to rip it off. The mouse body is shaped so that if it is askew, it will generally right itself into its proper mousey position on its belly.2 - the cord resists tangling. It isn't a string but a coated wire that gives the user a bit more control over where the mouse will go.3 - the wand is an ideal length. Not too long, not too short, allows the user to comfortably play with their cat while standing or sitting. If there are any cons, we haven't encountered them yet. Since the construction uses metal, we put the mouse toy out of reach of the cat when we are done with it so she doesn't try to devour it without us around. The positive side of this is that she has learned a new word, "MOUSE", and springs up if we say it before pulling this toy out for play time.We had tried other teaser toys for our cat that ended up repelling her. One teaser had a mouse that would chirp (ran on battery), and for some reason that really annoyed her so she never played with it. Another teaser, basically a feather boa with jingle bells, sent her in the other direction, too. So we scored big time with this one.I took a chance and sent this same toy to my sister for her cat. Turns out her cat went bananas for it, too. When they recently took a week-long road trip with their cat, they took this toy with them to keep the cat entertained in the hotel rooms. So this toy seems to have broad appeal.

THE BEST cat toy - hands down!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. This is the second time I've purchased this cat toy wand. My first broke because my cat played with it so much and was very rough on it and the plastic want just snapped in half. Our cat is a 6 month old boy who is a little rough-houser and needs a lot of active play time and nothing else has worked like this toy. He carries it around with him and brings it to us when he wants to play and LOVES to jump as high as he can, over and over. We have a few of the extra mice and he plays fetch with them for hours! We love that it is 100% natural and has no catnip or other additives/ colors that are super bad for pets. Personally, I think he loves the real buffalo and deer hair :) Honestly, I don't know what we'd do without this toy he loves it so much! Best purchase!

Not broken yet
3.5 stars. Unlike other cat wands, this is still in one piece. I just wish that my kitten liked it more. I thought she'd go ga-ga over the mouse, but she gets much more excited about the feather wands. It is also, as other reviewers note, not as easy to maneuver because it's rather heavy. So I guess this is what Jackson Galaxy would categorize as a ground prey toy.Edit 1 year later: So the wand did, in fact, break. I was able to tape it up the first time the line came off, but then the wand part broke too. I bought a replacement, and this time, the wand is shorter (and perhaps less likely to break, we'll see). I'm not totally sure there's not catnip in the mouse part (?). My new kitten is going crazy for this thing. So as other reviewers advise: keep it under wraps when not in use. I'm saving the handy tube it came in to store when we're not playing, because I would not put it past my rascal to chew off and eat the tail of this toy he literally wants to devour.

The BEST one
I've just purchased 3 different cat fishing toys. This one is the BEST. The cord is longer than most and is of soft filament; not wire or string. I can get more running out of the cat because I can swing the toy farther. The mouse is very attractive to our 12 week old kitten. Loves it best of all our lures. The handle is sturdy. This toy is well made. And, finally, it will accept other lures for more fun. When these wear out, this is the one I'll buy another of.** OBTW...none of these toys should be allowed to be chewed on by your pet for any length of time. They were not made for that kind of service; it's not a chew toy; it's a lure for playing with your pet. Hope this helps you get a great toy for your cat!!

Cat loved it, but it didn't hold up
My younger cat went absolutely wild over this toy while it lasted, to an extent that we'd have to hide it so she'd stop obsessively trying to catch it... she'd be panting with her tongue hanging out and want to keep chasing. And any time it isn't out she'd be meowing at us trying to lead us to the closet where we hide it.However... I think it has some fatal flaws. For one, the wire gets really easily knotted on itself and kinked up, and you can't really un-kink it, which makes it a bit harder to control. (The position it's in in my photo is a permanent kink.) The toy also knots around the swivel it attaches to, so it doesn't actually swivel. And finally, while playing just now my cat attempted to drag me and the toy off and the handle just snapped in two in my hand.To be fair, it's seen intense play since we got it, but it also only lasted exactly a month, which isn't great. The toy mouse is A+ am planning to purchase a ton of them, but they can be bought from multiple sellers, and IMO the wand on this toy really isn't very good. It's decent for the price but I won't be buying another. My cat went equally nuts over the last toy she obsessed over (a wand with a leather cord and leather-tailed mouse) and it's lasted a lot better.
