The Fun and Easy Memory Activity Book for Adults: Includes Relaxing Memory Activities, Easy Puzzles, Brain Games and More

I bought this book for my elderly mother with dementia. She is absolutely engaged due the variety of puzzles and memory games and it is manageable for her. Other books with crossword puzzles were too complex and she had never been able to do Sudoku before, but with this book with a little help with Sudoku she was able to complete the games. I bought another memory book from this same author with the same results. Would love if more books like these by the same author would continue to be published as there is a great need.

These activities are creative and just challenging enough.

Memory pages are challenges are fun

this was a gift for my son and he enjoyed it.

I bought this for my mom when she came to live with me. She was diagnosed with mild-moderate dementia, and she began speech therapy (memory therapy). The therapist suggested for mom to have some exercises like this to help her memory improve, because memory is like a muscle and needs to be exercised. At the very least, brain and memory exercises should help slow the decline in memory even if it does not improve. Even through my mom is not a puzzle or game person, she was fairly happy to work a few of these each day. Not only was it good for her, but it gave her something to do.

I have just begun doing the games in this book and I'm disappointed in how easy most of them are. The 1st crossword puzzle was laughably simple. A few exercises such as listing 20+ Movie Actors and then 20+ Comedy TV Shows were more challenging than expected. But on one game where you were asked to list words that Rhyme With Star ( I actually liked the game), the sample in the back of the book that showed a very small sampling of possible answers had 3 duplicates (see photo). I don't know who edited this book but so far they've done a messy job of it. I'm holding out hope that I'll enjoy most of the book since there is quite a variety of games and exercises.

I purchased this for my 84 year old mother who is getting forgetful and she really enjoys it. I purchased myself a copy as well so I could help her, I live out of state and we work on this together through video chat on Alexa. She has really enjoyed doing these puzzles and crosswords with me and I think this is helping her use her brain. The book is very easy so geared towards children or the elderly. If you are looking for a difficult puzzle book this is NOT the one for you. For my mother who is trying to improve her brain function/memory it is perfect!

I bought this for my mum to help keep her brain active in older age. She absolutely loves them, and ends up finishing them in a really short amount of time. I would definitely recommend these.

My father has quite advanced Alzheimer's, and I was worried this would be too complicated for him, as even word search is starting to become confusing for him (he'll forget to circle the words on the page and instead just cross off the listed words below).He has always hated sudoku, so I took those out before giving him this book (better to prevent frustration ahead of time than have him self-defeat if he sees sudoku and decides ahead of time that the book is too hard).This book...is simply FANTASTIC. Thank you so much to the person who created this. I would love to see more options out there so I can buy more for my father.He finished a crossword within the first few days of having this book, and he was SO excited and proud of himself. Yes, these crosswords are quite easy, but I'm not going to tell him that! It was the perfect difficulty to challenge him but not challenge so much that he would give up. And he cannot stop raving about the book and how he surprises my mother by how well he does in it.Alzheimer's is a b****, but this book helped give my father back a sense of accomplishment and pride. That's, quite simply, priceless.Again, can't thank you enough for making this book.

Good to keep the mind active

Great book very practical and came well packaged

I bought this for my husband who is in the early stages of Alzheimer's disease, hoping for an activity book that was challenging but not difficult. Something that was beyond the ubiquitous "word search". Something that offered a variety of games/activities. Well this book delivered in spades! He enjoys the variety of activities that are offered & I have worked a few puzzles myself. It is not childish or overly simple. This book is geared for anyone. I would HIGHLY recommend this book.
