These are useless.. Don't stay on fireplace at all.. I had to order a different kind to protect edges..

Foam is great, tape is awful. We used a stronger 3M tape than what came with this.

Moderately hard to get the foam to stay on our fireplace surround but it is light on the eyes and needs occasional repositioning.
