i bought both this 20x36 and the 20x72 black comfort mats for my new kitchen a month ago and i couldn't be happier. I was concerned that they were overpriced and might want to return them and then compromise for thinner ones that were half the price since we're on a budget. So glad i got these in the first place!they are firm and not super soft so you don't sink into them right away, but after standing at the stove for only 10 minutes the first day i got them, i realized how supportive they are! it's like a memorty foam bed, but for your kitchen floor! I've noticed my back starts to bother me when i stand at the sink or stove for extended periods of time because i tend to have bad posture and lean incorrectly when doing things in the kitchen. But after the first few days with these mats i can feel a difference and am now happy to stand in front of the stove making dinner! Plus, they are durable and heavy duty and don't slide around on the floor like my old cheap ones when i'm moving or my two cats are running around chasing each other in the kitchen. these mats stay put! I was also worried my cats might scratch and tear them up right away, nope not one tear or scratch. And believe me i've seen my cats rough house multiple times in the kitchen on these mats and i know they use their claws when they rough house together, but not one bit of evidence on these mats!Added bonus: when i drip water on them while emptying the dishwasher there are no water spots! I've waited for water spots to appear after unloading the dishwasher, doing the dishes, or dripping water when watering my house plants multiple times, but not one single water spot! And when i've spilled food on them they wipe clean and dry fast with a wet dishcloth and dish soap.I'm incredibly happy with this buy and have a feeling they will last me many years. So glad I spent the extra money on this pair last month! I have no complaints or a seingle minor downside!

We have owned the 72" anti-fatigue mat for over 18 months and it looks good as new. The edges have not curled. The color has not faded. There are no permanent indentations from hours of use. And the material has not ripped or torn.The mat is in our kitchen and gets a lot of use every day by a family of four. It's comfortable whether we're standing on it in bare feet or with shoes on. Other reviewers have stated their mats have "walked" a bit as they use them, but the 72" length is perhaps long enough to be too heavy to "walk." Ours stays put unless we deliberately move it to clean the floor around it.We love the anti-fatigue aspect of the mat. We tend to cook dishes with more chopping and measuring simply because it's comfortable to stand at the kitchen counter and do these tasks.But we are most pleasantly surprised by how easy the mat is to clean. When we sweep the kitchen floor, we just sweep the mat, too, to get the crumbs up. A quick swipe with a damp paper towel gets up the spilled flour. Most of the time, the mat looks spotless even though it's in the most-used place in the kitchen. Everyday splatters and drips and drops don't seem to show up on the mat and the mat never feels sticky. It's the cleanest area of our kitchen floor yet is should be the dirtiest. It's a mystery. If only we could "carpet" our house with wall-to-wall anti-fatigue mat!We have a cinnamon colored mat on laminate wood flooring. The mat is a similar color to the wood floor, but contrasts enough so that visitors and older adults don't trip on it.

I ordered 2 of the small size mats in cinnamon. They arrived promptly, in good packaging, and in perfect pristine condition. Both mats were flawless and looked great on our wood floor. They were immediately comfortable to step on. Unfortunately, my wife thought the black mats would look better with our appliances, so I returned the brown mats and bought two black ones instead. The black ones arrived in less than perfect condition. The packaging was the same as the brown ones, but both of these mats had markings on them. The first had two deep indentations, such as maybe you might see if someone laid a heavy dumb-bell on the mat for a long time. The other had lots of crevice-like cracks on one half of it. The instructions said to let the mats lay for 48-72 hours and most visual defects would go away. Well, 72 hours later, they're still there. So I'm returning the black ones to try one more time. I'm going to get one of the 26x72 mats instead of the two small ones, and hopefully it will arrive in the same condition as the brown ones.To be clear, the defects on the black mats were cosmetic only. They didn't detract in any way from the mat doing what it is supposed to. I have to agree with most everyone else, these mats are very comfortable to stand or kneel on and they seem to be made of really good quality. I didn't really have any issue with the corners being raised and creating an overt tripping hazard, but the user instructions do clearly say that this does raise the level of your floor so you do need to be careful when walking around. If you forget it's there, you could trip on it. But I think most people will be ok.

Recently, I made the switch to a standing desk at work. If you haven't done this yet, you should consider it. I work at a computer all day, every day, and absolutely love my standing desk. There are some great articles out there for how to build one for less than $30 using Ikea parts.For the first month of my standing, my feet would get a bit sore, and my back would hurt at the end of the day. Sitting down in the car after leaving work was a big relief. I figured that I would just get used to it, but I never did.Then, I got one of these. Life became so much better. I can stand all day with very little fatigue. They are durable and comfortable for any standing application where you will be on your feet all day.

This is the fifth Cumulus9 Kitchen Mat I have ordered, and this is the first one that has disappointed me. The mat was very dirty and dusty and since it was given as a gift, I was embarrassed when the recipient opened it! It looked like a used mat rather than a new one. Don’t know what happened, but this mat certainly did not meet my expectations!

This mat is amazing. I bought one for myself after seeing it in my friend's kitchen. Then I bought one for my mother and as soon as she stepped on it, she bought one for her friend. We mothers spend a lot of time in the kitchen between cooking and cleaning and this mat offers a nice bit of comfort.

I was looking for a small carpet for the kitchen in the cooking area. I am very please and appreciate the softness of this carpet. Very easy to clean!

This is a high quality product. It's lasted me years without any damage or deterioration. I've used it in a home office setting and in the kitchen. It's easy to clean any spills or food off of it. I recommend this product.

Always the best anti-fatigue mat out there, wouldn't buy any other kind! Always get compliments and asked where I buy these as everyone else wants it too!
