NOT SILVER!
Not sterling silver photos show a 925 stamp there is no stamp and by my guess it’s cast steel. The stone is an opal doublet (thin slice of opal with rounded glass or resin over top ) Defiantly a stimulated opal by the consistency of the flash. It’s a cheap piece of costume jewelry price is alright I wouldn’t have paid more than $10 for it if I had known it was not silver and a opal doublet.

Sizing Fluctuate. Beautiful ring & well worth it..
The ring is made well, the band is thick enough so it doesn't bend and its beautifully designed. My only issue was I ordered 2 size 8 rings because one had a scratch in it and I got 2 different size 8's instead. So I'm not sure which one is actually size 8. I guess just return if it doesn't fit. But still this ring is worth it.

Sterling silver or not?
I got my ring and at first glance it looks like the pictures. It is a pretty ring. But unlike in the pictures, there is no 925 sterling silver stamp. My skin sometimes has weird reactions to fake metal. So I guess In time I’ll find out if this ring really is sterling silver and it was just a mistake or the seller is trying to make a quick buck. That’s why I gave it only 3 stars.

Gem fell out in a week
This ring was so pretty. I bought it as a special gift for my daughter's Sweet Sixteen. She was just brushing her hair and the opal just fell out. I had to get on my hands and knees and just pat the floor for days trying to find it. I finally did find it, but now I have to pay a jeweler to put it back in because I'm afraid to bend the prongs myself using my household tools.

There was a piece of fur stuck between the metal and the gem
I opened the package and slipped it on, perfect fit. But when I inspected it closer there was a piece of fur stuck in between the gem and the metal arm holding it there. Pretty annoying. I had to pull at it for awhile to get it to come out and theres still a bit I have to wrangle with. Nice ring, but where'd the fur come from??

Rong and stone separated
I received my ring Monday. When I opened the package, the opal was loose in the package. I love the ring, but I had to think of a way to keep the stone in the ring. Gorilla glue worked. I gave a 3 star because of the stone .
