That's a Possibility!: A Book About What Might Happen Hardcover – Picture Book, June 4, 2013

This book begins with the concept of possibility explained in a way even young children can understand. As you read through the book, it becomes progressively more challenging, so as you notice when your child is losing interest you can stop, put it aside, and then continue as your child becomes older and is able to deal with more depth. My 5 year old grandson really enjoyed the beginning pages and laughed at the possibilities presented at the beginning. As it became more detailed by page 23, he was done. A few days later, he enjoyed looking at the beginning pages again, laughing, and then put it down when he turned to page 23. It will be fun to see how his mind grows into dealing with these more difficult concepts. The pictures are beautiful. Very colorful and vivid in their presentation. The words, probably, possibility, impossible, likely, improbable, are used throughout and can easily enhance a younger child's vocabulary.

Terrific book for kids learning about numbers and what they mean in everyday life. So it's math, probability studies and fun.

Great way to help kids learn about estimating/math. Fun, colorful, vibrant illustrations make it a delight for kids.

More for 3- 4 year old set. Not for older kids.

A wonderful introduction to probability. It introduces kids to the vocabulary and concepts of things like "possible", "likely", "probable" and "improbable".The pictures are great. Good for a single kid or reading to a class.

Outstanding book. Kids love it and so do I. Goldstone is a genius, and his book is a masterpiece. Any child who reads will master the fundamental notions of probability.

Is it possible, probable, likely or certain? Bruce uses wonderful photos to show you what probability terms mean. Easy to understand and entertaining. Check out his estimating books.

Excellent book for all ages! Even my 4-year-old began to grasp nearly all the mathematical concepts in the book. Very well written with great pictures!
