Not the best in this series
This computer is impressive, but still not what I hoped for. The Cybertronpc viper is basically the Cybertronpc Stinger that is $300 more with a graphics card that is okay, but not as good with 2 less cores than the stinger, the 4 cores are more powerful than the 6., but the fact is that there are 4 of them in this one and 6 of them in the stinger. The only thing that I find better is that the graphics card, which runs smoother. I would not recommend getting this product but getting the previous model, the stinger. I am extremely supportive of Cybertronpc but this model could have been better.

Great system right out of the box. Very Fast. Excellent customer service.
I usually build my own PC's. But I simply didnt have the time right now. Sourcing all of the parts and finding the best prices on all the chosen components takes more time than anything else. So as an experiment I looked at a handful of different builders that make relatively small batches of production gamer systems. I was looking in what I would call the value range of gamer systems. I wanted an i7-4790k processor. That was the baseline spec. I dont need a water cooled mega system with 3 video cards. Just something fast enough to make me happy. I do some light software dev, some light graphics and video editing, and a lot of spreadsheets and word docs. I wanted something snappy, and my current system (i7-2600k) was getting slower and slower. It is still quite a viable system, but it needs a full os rebuild to make it run right, and I dont have the time for that either. The CybertronPC stuck out for two reasons. One, the systems had a very nice spec for a very nice price. They didnt load up the systems with components that were too high of a spec for their intended purpose and price range. On the ViperX7, for example, they use a lower end video card, and a good, but less expensive hard drive option. This keeps the price down considerably. I was also very happy to see that this system was available on Amazon Prime, and I was able to get it shipped two-day for free. That sealed the deal.My only gripe is that this system should have come with 16 gigs of ram. But that was easily remedied by adding a 16 gig ram kit to my amazon order. The system was packaged very nicely. Everything was tight and secure in the packaging. When I opened the system, there was no power cord in the bag of goodies. Of course I have a couple here, but this was a good test of the CybertronPC customer service. So I picked up the phone, dialed the support number on the easy to read docs. Someone picked up quickly, apologized for the error, and took my address to ship me a new power cord. Very good! The system runs great. Nice and fast. The case is not as good as some of my higher end system cases, but it seems very well made, and it looks cool as well. I have not opened it up yet. But I will very soon. However, i think the review should be about the system as it came out of the box. And so far this one is very good. Most importantly, there is no bloat ware, so there is no crappy software gumming up the works. I look forward to using this system for a long time. Now to install that extra ram, and a couple of WD 3TB Black drives. :-)

Great deal
The computer arrived on time, packed well, fired up right away and has been running like a champ for a few weeks now. It included a number of extra screws, bevels, bay covers, driver disc as well as the Windows disc. In addition it included a start up guide and motherboard documentation(everyone should include this). My old machine took a dump so this was bought with the intention of being a gaming rig and upgrading some components at a later date. As it is right now I'm able to play Far Cry 4 on high settings without any stutter or frame rate issues and it has handled other games similarly as well.My only minor quibble is I found when I went to put my backup HD from my other PC is that the hard drive bays don't have any adapter brackets so right now it's rigged into place. This is not enough of an issue to remove any stars as this machine is a champ for the price! I also noticed the wiring is routed extremely well, tied together and out of the way. It was almost too good as it took me a minute or two to free up a connector for my drive, I'm not going to complain about nice work though!I also saw the price dropped the day after I order the computer and a quick email to Amazon refunded that price difference the same day.All in all 5 stars to both Cybertron and Amazon for a great product and experience!

This one has some good specs as well fit in my rage budget
I wanted to buy a new computer to replace mine five year old computer. This one has some good specs as well fit in my rage budget. I start with the pros then move on into the cons of this computer.pros: fast and powerful CPU that will last me for many years without upgrading, can also be overclock although wouldnt recommed it without getting a better CPU cooler. has fan control with multiple fans inside. can be easily upgraded. the computer case is great for wire management. the comupter itself is fast to respond and is reliable. comes with spare parts and documents on the hardware as well as all the DVD's drivers for the hardware and a hard copy of windows 8.1. This is very rare as many computers I have purchased over the years this one is the first that has came with all that. which is a good thing and is very helpfull the fully understand the specs of all the hardware installed on the computer. No much junk software is one the computer (advertiments, trials, etc) which is good becuase I have always hated junk software on my new pc's. very well package and arrived on time. The PC comes with 550 W PSU which is great. Don't know why amazon said it was less on the details section. the PC is comapiable with some of the hardware on my previous computer which is great.CONS: no wifi, which is not a deal breaker since I know that before purchased. even though the motherboard is designed to support two graphic cards it might be a tight fit, depends on the size of the cards. the graphic card it does come with is basic not a deal breaker since I was planing on upgrading the card anyways to a higher GPU. The DVD drive is not blue ray, not a big deal since I had one on my previous computer and was able to installed it on this one.Other thoughts: even though their are some cons to this computer the pros outweigh the cons it so I would recommend this computer to anyone looking for a decent game computer that is easily up-gradable.
