Great
I am using this for my Chihuahua and Terrier mix (9lbs). I adjusted the straps by overlapping and wrapping it with some paracord to hold it together, because it was too big for him and I didn't want to cut the strap to adjust it. It works grate! It does look bulky on my 9lb dog but he doesn't seem to mind it. I only use the vibration and sound modes (I tested the vibration on myself and it felt safe). The remote feels cheap because it's light, but seems to be holding up fine. The connection is a bit funky so I would have to push the button a few times sometimes, but it's not a big deal since I only use sound or vibrate. The battery life is great. I don't care that it's waterproof and I wouldn't use this product or any other shock collar around large water (even if it is waterproof). I got it for his barking. Before, I would tell him to stop barking but he wouldn't listen. I only have used it for a week and sometimes he does bark when there is a noise outside, but I tell him to stop once and he will stop. It is a great training device and I think he will stop barking completely pretty soon.

good product but not for all dogs.
This is a hard review. There is 2 parts to my review, the product and its useproduct - Overall it is a good product. Better quality than I expected. quickly changes between modes and strengths. I shocked myself first and it is nothing more than a shock massage gives. vibrate is small but you can notice it. Light is useless. Sound is not helpful really. I would not expect this to last in the water but maybe through the rain. I like the fact it doesn't need to be turned on and can sleep and be reactive when the dog moves. Very helpful. I wish the hand remote was back-lit. I also wish the 4 buttons on the front were for the 4 options and not just a completed way to toggle through them. I found myself in the heat of the moment having some difficulty changing from vibrate to shock without making a mistake and going to the light or something and wasting time to circle back to shock. It does seem like the device could fall or break off from the collar so I don't suggest for something like deep woods. I gave my 4 of 5 starts for the product quality and functionality.Use related to my dog - Okay, so here is where I would give 1 of 5 stars. My dog did not respond well. I have a 1 year old German shepherd. The sound just caught her off guard and confused her, the vibration list her attention at first as she tried to roll and knock it off and made her behavior very uncontrollable. After some time she got use to it and didn't seem to care one way or the other. In the moment (barking at another dog or playing) it had no effect on her at all. I tried the shock at 5% but nothing. next correction I tried at 25% and nothing again and then the next time at 50%. She jumped 4 foot with a huge yelp. I guess it didn't get through her thick fur but I had it rather tight. She stopped the bad behavior but was a bit daises or scared. The next time she ran straight to my side and I though it might have some promise (still nothing with the vibrate). Then she was barking at another dog without her leash on (playing fetch in a baseball park. She started to run towards the dog's fence so I fumbled through it remotes settings passing the shock trying to get back to it as quick as I could. I shocked her and she yelped and started running home. This was bad as it was down our road where cars frequent. I shocked her again in hopes she would stop and hear my call but she only ran faster straight to our door. Now she normally minds fine and I only got this for when I come home from work as she jumps on me and whines for attention for 5-10 minutes. I was looking to break that. I will not be using it any more as she let me know that it is not good for our relationship. So the product was good but not for my dog. I guess not all dogs respond the same so it might or might not work for you. I'm happy I got this one and not a $200-300 one to fine that out.

Stopped working
This worked great.... But only when it worked. Have used this maybe 15 times on the buzzer and vibrate modes and it now no longer does anything. Have charged both items for several hours and while they both have lights on, it would appear no one is home..******UPDATE*****: It would seem that the unit was not at fault, it was me... While I never take blame for anything that goes wrong, this was "hands down" Operator Error!! There is a little button on the remote with the label 1/2.. This little button allows you to use the remote on a second collar without interfering with the first. I had clearly pressed this in error and changed settings. The entire thing is working fine now.On another note, this lovely guy that sold me the unit on here just called to follow up with my initial review and to deal with the issue.. Clearly there wasn't one, but it was nice to talk to him anyway ;)As for the unit actually doing what it was brought for, it works a charm on my 80lb Boxer, the beep is generally enough to get his attention, have used the vibrate a couple of times, but only when he has ran off chasing cats... I'm about to recommend this as a training aid for a friend that has a very very naughty fur baby.. Very naughty indeed..Thanks Nice man with the nice voice lol

Almost a good collar
This collar works well, but there were too many cons to get it more than 2 stars from me.First the Dog: Golden Retriever less than one year old but about 50 pounds. Friendly and likes to jump up on people. Hence the training collarSecond, a pro for the collar: we never used the shock feature. The vibrate feature worked very well. It got his attention and stopped his negative behavior. I felt better about using the vibrate feature than the shock feature.Third, the cons: The controller was confusing. With all of the different settings and poorly marked buttons, we missed a lot of "teaching" moments for our dog because the controller was not in the right setting. It would be nice if the controller had a "trigger" button. The biggest button on the controller does NOT activate the collar. Not intuitive. Finally the biggest con: the "shocker" comes off of the collar. This might be a convenience when it comes time to charge it, but our big, active dog somehow got it off the collar and chewed it to oblivion. To this day, we have no idea where it is.UPDATE: iPets customer service contacted me and refunded my purchase. While I still stand by my original post, at least their customer service is top notch. I didn't expect a refund since my dog ultimately destroyed the device. In the end I bought a different collar from the same company because I know they will take care of me if I need it.

Good product. Like the option of shock, sound or vibrate. I find the vibrate is enough correction for my head strong Labrador. Having a remote lets me decide when to make the correction! If you have 2 dogs that need correction, suggest getting the one with 2 collars and 1 remote that can be custom set for each collar and has the ability to change from collar 1 to collar 2. I would buy this again!

Thank you Petrainer from me and Benny (the well mannered mutt!)
I am very impressed with this collar and the company. My dog went swimming and ruined the collar, the company was quick to replace the receiver. It has made training my dog a joy, I don't have to use the shock method, the noise around his neck is usually enough to make him return, if he is chasing geese or bunnies, I up it to vibrate, that always makes him come running back! I would highly recommend this product. A similar device at a pet store will cost you a lot more.Thank you Petrainer from me and Benny (the well mannered mutt!)

I bought two of these. Both product of Esky ...
I bought two of these. Both product of Esky. Both identical. Both weighing one pound (.45kg). Both named Esky AA Rechargable LCD Remote Control Dog Training Shock Collar. Both with HS Code 93059900.Both having single receiver collar. Everything is identical.Still one invoice dtd. 4.3.15 no. 44603 charges me Rs. 4099.00 (order no. ID 00000042231) and the other charges me Rs. 4719.00, invoice no. 44602 dtd. 4.3.15 Order ID 00000042231.This is the result of buying online. If I try to return it, I will not be getting full Rs.700 which has been overcharged. Returning cost will run into Rs. 200+.. if it were returnable. THIS IS NOT RETURNABLE. SO THINK BEFORE YOU BUY ONLINE. Despite the fact that guarantees and returns etc. are there.

Standbay del receptor
Muy bien el aparato, me esta ayudando con el entrenamiento de mi perro el Ășnico inconveniente es que si el perro esta en reposo el receptor se pone en standbay y no funciona hasta que lo mueves manualmente para que se active

Great training tool!
I have a 5 month old puppy and no fenced yard for her to roam around in. After multiple daily visits to our neighbours, I was at the end of my rope and unsure what to do short of constantly taking her out on a leash just so she could sniff around the yard and do her business. Since we bought this collar, it's night and day difference. She listens to me 90% of the time, which is impressive for a little puppy. We keep it on the vibrate option but it's very easy to switch between the three modes.I was also pleasantly surprised to figure out that there was a little flashlight on the top. It's nothing amazing but it works great when it's pitch black outside and your fur baby wanders a little too far.Very pleased with this purchase!
