Fantastic
Yes, I finally found a book I can learn Jeet Kune Do from. I mean I've been a Bruce Lee fan for years and I've always wanted to fight like him. His skills and talents will forever be acknowledged.

Martial Arts warfare that can be applied mentally or physically.
This book is an excellent companion to The Tao Of Jeet June Do. It has illustrations and explains more in detail of what Bruce Lee's books on fighting methods and techniques applications.

Wonderful book but issues with binding
The writing itself is excellent, very clear language and highly descriptive with very effective illustrations. 10/10 but a major flaw is when the book arrived at pages were falling out of it like mad. I don’t know if the machine just missed the mark on this one or what but it was fairly disappointing. I just drilled some holes and threaded a new binding. Still an excellent book and would recommend to anyone wanting to increase their understanding/practice of martial arts

Just basics
I chose this book for what the title imp!ied. As is customary when jkd is involved, a lot of words are used to increase the page count. Nothing beyond the basics of boxing is taught. If you are new to the arts or boxing, then this book is a good investment. Beyond that, look for a good school or boxing gym.

Learn to apply JDK principles to any martial art you know.
If you already practice a martial art, then there is a lot of great information in this book for you. Unfortunately, it does *not* really teach Jeet Kune Do. But it does teach you the principles of JKD (through demonstrations of some of the basics), which can be applied to nearly any art or system of self-defense you may otherwise know.Essentially, it teaches you, and provides plenty of examples of, how to make an art "your own." This is important, because we are all built differently, and have various strengths, weaknesses, and preferences. Make the most of them, and learn from Bruce Lee and Sam Fury.

Great tool to enhance study and practice
This is an excellent book on JKD with well thought explanations and images that support the content. I highly recommend it.

Worth having!!!
Another beginners guide into jeet kune do. I find it really in-depth and showing basic techniques followed by some terminology but it does not show any hand trappings. My best suggestion is to purchase the wing chun book first before you buy the jeet kune do, as wing chun is the foundation of jkd. To understand jkd you have to understand wing chun first. Could have done with more images. But an all in all round book, it's worth having for any novice or for someone who is interested in pursuing the art of fighting without fighting.

No Tao or philosophy unfortunately
A basic very short version of the original JKD book I was looking for but with the ebooks given free with the purchase its worth the money.
