I bought this for use on our boat to signal others and as a fog horn. Some reviews mention that it isn't very loud, but in my opinion it is very loud. Too loud to press for the shortest time indoors without hurting your ears.Certainly it is loud and clear enough to be heard quite a way away. As it doesn't need refills it's perfect for the job.

Great quality and suitably loud horn! Bought for use at a mini rugby tournament. Love that you can use this again and again, with no need to buy compressed air. For info, mine has a metal ‘pole’ which is very sturdy. Highly recommend👍🏻

I’ll be honest I bought this to prank my work colleagues. The noise is deafening if you pump it hard enough. There’s a lot of reviews saying it’s flimsy and easy to break. If you pump it correctly I can’t see it being an issue I pump it pretty hard and you can feel if you’re going to damage it or not. I don’t really have a more practical use for it other than making people jump but I suppose it could be used on a small boat or even a bike. Buy at your own risk it really is deafening.

on falling broke on first day. worked after gluing.broke again and i lost patient to keep and in the bin.the sound is loud when not broken
