Disappointed
I have used this before but this year it seems thinner and although used as normal it did not give me the same protection as last years. I burnt which has never happened with this product before. Worried to use it again now. Very disappointed.

Excellent, if it's animal free
This sunscreen definitely lives up to its goals as sweat and water resistant. I can wear this all day. I do outdoor physical work and wear a sunscreen everyday. My usual brands can sting your eyes as the day goes on. This does not nor do I have to re apply. It’s easy to put on and is absorbed leaving no white streaking. The packaging is sustainable and SWOX seem to have a grip on the importance of environmentally friendly and sustainable. I am disappointed however that they don’t have an animal cruelty free mark on their products and also the sunscreen doesn’t seem to be vegan or even vegetarian so I assume it contains animal products and at some point is tested on animals. There is no UVA ( causes skin ageing) star rating on this product. On the product packaging UVA is in a circle, this does confirm that the UVA rating is at least a third of the UVB spf. In this case 30. I’m used to buying sunscreen with 4 or 5 stars to be sure. However this product does work brilliantly and I have had no burning or even slight redness, not even on the hottest days of the year and I only apply once in the morning before leaving the house. I also have fair skin and would normally burn easily. I would buy this again and highly recommend if this product was cruelty free and contained no animal products.

works ok on my hubby but I got allergy.. and expensive
This Sox suncreen lotion has no scent and it is extra water resistant which are the good sides. However there are some inconsistencies. For example , on the website page , the first point they highlighted was "fot the whole body with SPF 50"... this is not SPF 50 and there is a typo..Other then this , on the package it says apply 10 minutes but the bottle says 15minutes..Fine , we understand it should be apply a bit while before going out. But I really don't like you post and publish some thing with mistakes. The product itself has a very cool design. The package is green to recycle. My husband tried it and it did work well. But I got some allergies over the product. I was itchy everywhere like my face and palm. Have to wash it off but it is water resistant... It was pretty annoying to be honest.. I have to use hand wash several times to get rid of the uncomfortable feeling.Price wise, my husband was on about saying this one doesn't have significant difference from supermarket brands...

Sun Shine All Day
It has been a hot year and as a family of sunburn victims, we always lather up well. This sports option from Swox has proven very useful. For one, the packaging is small so can be easily carried around. It is also quite liquid based so not as much is needed to cover up and it sinks in easily. This sunscreen has worked on more sensitive skin and did not cause any flair up like some creams have in the past. This is a top-quality sunscreen, and it was used when we were at the beach etc. We reapply sunscreen regularly anyway, so cannot attest to the waterproof nature of it, but can say that no burning happened this summer, so it did the trick. It must be said though, that even in the rather expensive sunscreen market, this is expensive.

OK but very expensive at present
This is a 125ml pack of factor 30 suntan lotion. It comes in a very ornate box and inner packing which actually make the product look larger than it is. The lotion is waterproof and is particularly recommended when taking part in water sports. The lotion is manufactured in Germany and, from the packaging, looks like a quality product. This white cream has no discernible scent. It is fairly viscous but absorbs easily. In Northern Ireland in July I have not had the opportunity to test the protection this product offers! As this is largely an unknown brand there's a bit of a risk in using the lotion. The packing and place of manufacture is reassuring. I'll update my review on its efficacy if the sun ever shines. In the meantime, a big issue is the cost of the product - around £35 including postage - from a non-Amazon source. That's clearly overpriced bearing in mind the brand, or rather lack of brand. As a result three stars. The rating would increase if the product was less expensive.

Here comes the sun.
Testing this product is super difficult when you live in England. But I've had a go of this and it seems to work just fine. Maybe a better test would be a holiday. But alas. That's not allowed just now.It sits lovely on the skin. It has a really stiff consistency. Like a really whipped cream. But it does absorb In seconds. As a product i would vote this 5*. But I can't at the price is just too high. It's sun tan lotion. It does the same job as any other sun tan lotion. My opinion on this is that you should save yourself a tenner and get a cheaper brand. It will do this same job and you can spend all the money you save on cocktails by the beach. Bonza.Ps. There is a whole lot of needles cardboard that comes with this. I have to ask the company. Why is that a sun tan lotion needs 3 separate boxes.

Effective but expensive
It's ironic that as soon as this sun screen arrived the sun disappeared, however this past weekend was perfect testing weather. This is a fat tube with a flip top so the cream is easy enough to access. It's more of cream than a lotion so takes quite a bit of rubbing in. I didn't have the opportunity to swim (or surf) so can't attest to the effectiveness or otherwise of it's waterproof qualities.Despite the description which states there is no fragrance I found it actually does, and it's so pleasant I was in danger of becoming addicted to Sunscreen Sniffing. I wish I could say what the fragrance is, but I just can't put a name to it.The packaging is a work of art. A two piece cardboard tube which pulls apart to reveal an inner sleeve in which the tube of sunscreen nestles. I'm almost reluctant to throw it way.So far this is all very positive however the cost (£15.90 at time of writing) is is too high.
