These pills got my iron levels back on track!
I bought these pills as an alternative to other iron pills. I wanted a pill that didn't have anything artificial in in it. Most RX iron pills have artificial red coloring in them. These do not. They are all natural. There is no aftertaste. They did not upset my stomach. After taking them for a year, my iron was back to normal levels. My only gripe is that the bottle says they are mini tabs. They are not mini in size. If you are one of those people that has a hard time taking pills this might be helpful for you to know.

Amazing product that deserves more visibility
I’m only writing a review because I come back every few months to buy packets of this product for almost 2 years now, and it never appears on the amazon home page when I just look up “iron pills”. This product was recommended to me by my doctor. It’s effective and strong with little side effect. I feel less energetic and more cold when I miss my dose for weeks (if I run out when traveling) and order it back as soon as I can. If you are iron deficient, this stuff will cure with no bloating / constipation/ diarrhea / any side effects - not any that I’ve experienced anyway. I do intermittent fasting and so usually take it with vitamin D in the morning and feel fine most days. I occasionally feel nauseous when I’m not well rested and then just pair it with some food. Unlike other vitamins I’ve tried to order online, I don’t see any change in my urine color, so I assume it is relatively well absorbed. The pill itself is easy to swallow, but it doesn’t taste “good” - it’s just medicine. I swallow it as soon as it’s in my mouth and it’s fine then.

" which are exquisitely sensitive and painful oral ulcers since I was a child
I've dealt with "mouth ulcers," which in my family we also called "fever blisters," which are exquisitely sensitive and painful oral ulcers since I was a child. Some believe they are caused by a virus (but not related to the herpes viruses--I know--I have oral herpes and the two are quite different), and there does seem to be a genetic component in that many people with these sores state other family members also have them (NHS data). I've tried many things to deal with this issue, including lysine (a careful six-month trial with no change) and various OTC salves, rinses, and mouthwashes, including saline. Nothing seems to change the frequency of the "attacks," and the OTC treatments basically treat the symptoms, not the underlying cause(s). My adult daughter began taking Rainbow Light's prenatal vitamins a few years ago before the birth of her second child. She has also suffered from mouth ulcers since childhood. When she told me she had not had any mouth ulcers since beginnning the vitamins, I compared the ingredients of the prenatal vitamin with Rainbow Light's other vitamin/mineral supplements. I also checked on the web for any new information and learned that some people's issues might rest in a B12 or Iron deficiency. I already take B12 (injections), and I am anemic from time to time, so I thought an iron deficiency might be part of my problem. I began taking Rainbow Light's Adult Active vitamins and added Complete Iron mini-tabs. I began this regimen in July of 2015, a month after a very bad attack of mouth ulcers following an unidentified virus in June that had me in the ER during a vacation. Since that time, I have had a few mouth ulcers, just a few, and the ulcers I have had have been much smaller, less painful, and healed more quickly than in the past. Usually, I would get at least two or three small ones once or twice a month (not with a menses period; I am post-menopausal), and a more severe attack (more ulcers and much larger, making it difficult to eat). It's also worth mentioning that I have taken iron in the past to help with occasional anemia, but the iron tablets always upset my stomach, even when I took them with food. I have not had a single problem with the Complete Iron tablets, not even when I've taken the tablet with the RL multi-vitamin without food. I highly recommend these tablets if you need iron. I also highly recommend Rainbow Light's Adult Active multi-vitamins.

Helped with my BP & anemia immediately!
This is my 3rd time buying something from the Rainbowlight brand and still plan on buying more. Currently pregnant and in the beginning I was having insane issues with low blood pressure drops and anemia, so I started taking these iron pills and they’ve literally saved my life. For those that don’t wanna read my lengthy post, I used my MAC lipstick as a size reference to the bottle and pills. The very first pill to the left is the size of the Iron Tab. The middle is fish oil, the right is the prenatal Rainbowlight pill. I have no issues swallowing any pill size after being on BC pills for 5 years and got used to swallowing a pill everyday. This is easy breezy for me. However, I will say for people who have difficulty swallowing pills, you might wanna break it in half or get a pill grinder. My husband shivers and gags when he sees me have to swallow these pills every day and mind you, the iron tab is the “smallest” one lol. Great brand! Highly recommend. If you’re taking them for pregnancy just make sure it’s okay with your doctor. My doctors are aware of what I take and told me to keep doing what I’m doing. Background:I was given prenatals immediately when I tested positive for pregnancy. I started having really bad issues with low blood pressure along with anemia. My BP would go as low as 80/50 and sometimes a little lower. I’d have to faint, felt fatigued 24/7, couldn’t breathe right, I lost my vision at one point, suffered dehydration, etc. Never had issues with either in my life before so this was all new to me and my body.My 2 older sisters who are mothers recommended that I change my Prenatals to the Rainbowlight bcus they worked great for them.So I did and omg. When I tell you my body physically showed a difference, so when my doctor recommended I take over the counter iron tabs after being in the ER 2-3 times a week for insane blood pressure drops I went ahead and got the Rainbowlight Iron Tabs.Within the first 2 days my fatigue went away, my blood pressure FINALLY rose. Mind you at the ER we tried IV’s with saline, I tried IV hydration packets at home, a diet change for more iron, and nothing was working until I changed my prenatals to the rainbow light, plus taking the rainbow light iron tabs.7 months pregnant now and I haven’t had any more issues since taking these pills. My baby has been growing absolutely fine, he’s actually been 1-2 weeks ahead with his growth and I’m also back up on my feet. For those that are wondering about taking to much iron and suffering from constipation, stomach aches, any side effects, etc, I haven’t had any issues whatsoever.

Decent iron supplements, large tablet.
Let me be clear, there is no mini about this tablet. It is large to swallow like most vitamins. Doesn't taste bad, goes down easily. Is not as constipation as most iron supplements as long as you are very hydrated. Has not raised my ferritin/iron as much as hoped, am taking as directed.

the best iron tablet I have tried
it won't cause stomach problemseasy to absorbjust it is a bit pricy and easy to get out of stock (perhaps that's why it is popular/ good!)
