Owone Box Girls 3 Pcs Swimmable Mermaid Tail Bikini Bathing Swimsuit Swimwear

So the reviews on this were so-so. And I understand why. My 7 yo wanted this for this summer's swimming activities. She is 50" tall and 55 lbs, fairly tall and trim. She generally wears a 7 slim jean and a M (7/8) top. In general: We got the purple snakeskin pattern, it's ok. She likes it cause its purple. The fabric is a low to mid quality fabric, not nearly as thick as normal swimming suits, but it's not see through. The top is short and wide on her - it is loose around her ribs, with a 2" gap on each side. The bottoms are tight, almost too tight. The tail is LONG - she can pull it all the way up to her sternum and it just covers her feet. BY THE WAY -- the bottom of the tail is open. It looks NOTHING like the picture of the girl. It looks like the picture of the suit itself. The whole bottom is open and allows feet all the way through. We haven't tried swimming in it yet, that should be interesting. Good luck, I probably wouldn't buy it again, but it's gonna work this summer.

This tail is a bit of a disappointment. It fits my daughter just fine but from every single picture and the item description one would think that the monofin would fit in the end of the tail securely. I know it says that feet and poke through for walking but there are no fabric pockets or anything for the fun to rest in. I don't think the tails picture are what ships. We are keeping it because I can fix it and the pattern is great, as is the material. Just be ready to break out your bag of tricks to make this work if you want to use a fun with it.

This is extremely cute but the fabric is a little thin for swimsuit so I just have my daughter wear it overtop of another suit. My other complaint is that the picture is deceiving. With the fin insert, it appears to be sewn at the bottom but it does not come sewn. It is an open bottom. The fin insert just pushes right through after a couple of kicks. My solution to this was to sew the bottom myself. Since doing that, it works great and is adorable to watch my daughter swim around like a mermaid.

I was very skeptical about purchasing this product because I did not know how it would fit. This product is true to size, so I recommend purchasing this in the size your child wears in swimwear. My daughter loved this tail and was really excited to wear it. It is very snug all the way to her ankles so she did have problems walking in it. However the tail did fit her nicely.

Perfect for what I was looking for. My daughter is 4 years old and she can wear this and pretend she is a mermaid while still having some mobility. Mermaid tail is just like a long skirt which I like. Without the tail it is just a normal tankini. It is thin but quality is fine. We have washed it a couple of times. Good value.

For some reason the tail/fin portion as shown as worn does not come close to when actually on.and it not a closed fin. it looks identical to the image of the third piece as shown.nice material - daughter loves it so I will be keeping it.

The fin is a little long for my daughter but can be bunched up for her to walk alright. My girls both love their new bathing suits.

My 5 year old daughter loves this swimsuit. She even wears it around the house for playing. It is a great value and very cute! My daughter is very thin and it is a little big on her around the belly and leg holes, but I altered it to make it work.
