Holes not stud width
The holes are not as wide as the wall studs so they have to be partly or fully anchored into Sheetrock. The will hold much weightAlso, on one of the shelves the holes were very off centered

Inconsistent shelf lengths
Shelf lengths are all different, none of them 20" as advertised. I found one to be 19.75" and others 19.5" long, made instalation very difficult as every shelf's length between brackets was off by a couple of cm. One of the shelves were cracked, the others were stained very poorly and had chips and dents throughout the shelf. The screws and anchors provided with the kit were subpar, good thing there were so many extras provided. The anchors kept splitting and twisting...The brackets dont seem to provide a lot of support and the shelves dont seem like they can hold very much weight....I managed to install two shelves on my wall but I am very displeased. For $50 for three wood shelves, its only OK, more disappointing.... I'd rather go with something MDF and more lightweight for more consistency and sturdiness. Purchase at your own risk....

Disappointed...
These shelves do not look good in person. The edges are scraped up and not pretty. I'm not going to return them because I don't have time, therefore hubby is going to try to touch them up. Would not buy again.

Beautiful shelves, good customer service
Received the shelves over the weekend and opened the box today, to discover that only 5/6 brackets were included for mounting. I suppose I could just mount two of the three shelves or spend more money for another set of brackets that may or may not work...I've contacted the seller seeking remedy to this issue today.Attached photo showing the back of all three shelves with brackets inserted into the backs as they are shipped. One of the shelves only had 1/2 brackets.Side note: the shelves look pretty nice. Solid wood, decent finish. There are definitely some defects in the wood and the finish but nothing I'd worry about. They are supposed to appear rustic or re-purposed and I do not mind this one bit...just need my other bracket.Update 1/26/2021: seller dispatched a new bracket quickly. Also to the people saying these are just 2x4’s they aren’t. If you wanted to make these yourself you could, you just need to get the wood and brackets and stain. You’d need to drill each piece of wood to accommodate the brackets and either dremel, route or chisel the backs to relieve the area around the brackets...then stain the wood obviously. I think it’s a decent value...not exceptional but decent.

Nice shelves..pain in the ass to install
I'm going to preface this with saying that these do look nice, and I am a mechanical engineer so I get really annoyed with some stuff...That being said...installing these was a pain. The three shelves all measured 50 cm long and the mounting pins were all around around 7/8" from pin to center of slot. But all the shelves had different dimensions for center to center of the pin holes. There was a range of 14-3/4 to 15-3/16...the slots in the mounting pins would not allow for this adjustment so I had to mark out each one separately based on edge to center and center to center dietance.I'm sure someone who is used to Home Depot shelves could have just measured one and assumed they were all the same, and would have had some holes in their walls that they had to deal with. The hardware (anchors and screws) these came with are garbage. I use E-Z Anchor 50 pound anchors that we're much smaller in diameter, leave a smaller hole in the wall and are easier to install...they don't even require a drill. So I suggest you get these, it will be worth the money. The long drywall screws are also a horrible idea as they don't allow any veritcal level adjustment since they are flatheads. These shelves also have no way of positive retention on the wall. I had to buy and install some Tee Nuts and use screws to clamp them down to make sure they didn't come off the wall accidentally. They are nice shelves, so if you're handy or have someone handy who can put them up...go for it...otherwise stick with something a little more standard.

Good enough
These are fine. They look great, and are easy to install. The instructions that come with them are unnecessarily complicated, if you ask me. If you have a tape measure, level (or iPhone app), and screw driver, you're good.Only downside I see is the holes for the rods that support the shelves are slightly bigger than the rods themselves. That makes it easier to slid them onto the rods, but also means the shelves sag down a bit. E.g., if you put a pencil on one, it will roll off the front. If you care about this, you could probably offset it by putting a thin shim under the bottom half of each support rod, so that the rod is angled slightly upward once installed. Then, the shelf would settle down and end up more level. Not a deal-breaker, but something to be aware of.

Nice shelves
Perfect for my needs; placed an urn with framed picture on each shelf, pretty sturdy. Was easy to install and looks great. Worth the cost, liked them so much, I plan on ordering another set. Only issue was the paint on the side edges of two shelves were sloppy but thats a minor flaw, no big deal.

Great shelves - the best customer service!
I ordered two sets of these dark walnut shelves a few weeks apart and I didn't feel that the stain color on the second set matched the first set well enough. I couldn't return the first set, as they were already mounted to the wall. I figure it was a long shot, but reached out to customer service for help.Mike responded immediately and was very understanding upon seeing my photos. He informed me that his new inventory all looked like the second set of shelves I ordered, but we communicated back in forth several times discussing other options. He agreed to give it one more shot and dug through all his inventory in his warehouse and found the shelves I needed. I received the new shelves a couple of days later and they were a perfect match. I'm very happy with the shelves, they look great and are very sturdy. Many thanks to Mike and Mark One Home Goods for exemplary customer service and a great product!

arrived damaged
The shelves were beautiful except all three were marked...either scratched (one one) or had paint drops (other two). Sanded them and re-stained bad façades as it was easier than re-shipping....
