I got this to repair a cat scratching post. It's just rope without any smelly, weather/water proofing treatment. Thumbs up.

This is the 1/2" rope thats 50ft long. It's small for a doormat. I think it would've turned out better sized if I had used the 100 feet of 1" rope. But the price difference is about 20 bucks verses about 75 bucks. And 75 is too damn much for a door mat so that won't be happening! The rope itself is good quality rope. And while all ropes smell, this one isnt particularly pungent so thats good.

Though not as stiff as the Morelux, time will tell if it will hold up well. We purchased this to complete our dock/pier look for our pool deck. The soft feel will work as a hand rope for the steps from the pillars to the deck post and along the deck. Pictures will follow soon.

The media could not be loaded. I used this roll of hemp rope to rewrap my cats scratch post. Hemp is related to catnip, so theyre already hovering at the end of the rope hanging down as i wrap it. First, I cut the old shredded one off. Then I heavily coated the wooden pile w Gorilla Glue in 4 inch sections, as i tightly wrapped it. By starting at the bottom, it was easily held down tightly by one hand. I used hair ties at the top and bottom to hold them tightly while the glue dries. I'm just going to leave 'em on there and not break that good seal on the rope ends.IT WAS A COMPLETE SUCCESS... NO MORE THROWING AWAY A HARD WOOD SCRATH POST AGAIN!!! You can order nylon rope in assorted colirs to make it more colorful to match the room its in. I saw colors from yellow, blue, pink and even 2 colors twisted together. But, I like the natural rope look. I layed it over the garbage can, SPRINKLED CATNIP ONTO IT & RUBBED IT IN. I had to wrap cling wrap around it while it dried to keep the Gorilla Glue off their feet while dried.IT WAS A HUGE SUCCESS!!!

we are remodeling our bilevel basement and i purchased this rope to cover our 9' floor posts insead of looking at a metal pole. I wanted to minimize whatever we did to the posts and had them covered with cedar boards previously which took up alot of room. These poles turned out fantastic. It was a little messy with the spray adhesive and we had to twist the rope tight as we twined it around the poles. Unfortunatley as we twisted the rope it would start to unwind and we ended up with an unwound rope of about 70' we had to work with which took alot of time. but the look was work the hassel.

I use this hemp to re-wrap my cat’s scratching posts. He loves the texture of this rope. My two Russian blues are scratching post trained. I’d do anything to keep my babies happy.
