Ferexer Sports Borosilicate Glass Water Bottle with Bamboo Lid with Neoprene Sleeve 1000 ml / 550 ml

Basically got this for the reason in my title, water never seems to taste as fresh from refilling plastic water bottles when compared to just pouring a glass of water, or in this case filling a glass container.Lid is a secure fit, no leakage. The rope attached to the lid is secure and the bottle can be picked up (when full), without damage to this.Why the drop in star? The case. Yes, it will definitely protect it and also adds some grip when picking it up. But, it smells really odd. This smell has begun to fade over the past 2 weeks and hopefully, when I rinse it with some soap it will eventually disappear but it's not too pleasant, a chemically smell.Besides this, if you're looking for an alternative to a plastic water bottle, this is absolutely fine

Great glass bottle. Lovely minimalist design. The bamboo wood cap looks great with the glass and the little loop is great to pull it or if bags etc (though I probably would not carry it for extended periods of time using it). The borosilicate glass can indeed withstand boiling water and I use to carry hot tea with me throughout the day. Price is very good for how high quality it is, considering some glass bottles can cost nearly double this!

Bought for my wife. She loves the shape and size. Comfortable to hold in her hand (she has arthritis), and the neck is a good size to drink from. The neoprene sleeve fits lk=ike a glove, and will not fall off by accident. The loop on the bottle top is a nice touch.The bottle is also easy to clean with bottle brushes.I would highly recommend purchasing if this is what you are looking for.

This bottle had been great for four months until it broke. I was sat at work with my bottle on my desk in its neoprene sleeve and hadn't touched it for about an hour. I heard a strange noise like a popping sound and then water started leaking through the sleeve and onto my desk. I picked up the bottle and saw water pouring through the sleeve at the bottom so was really confused, picked the bottle out of the sleeve and the entire base of the glass bottle had just come off! I have no idea how it happened as I didn't even touch it my colleagues were really confused too. I would love a replacement bottle as it had been good up until then and I much prefer glass to plastic as plastic can often start smelling after a while even after washing however this is obviously quite dangerous if it just breaks randomly!

The bottle is great and the mouth is the perfect size to drink from, however the cap is absolutely filthy, overgrown with mould and literally has bugs all over it. Hardly the condition I’d want for an item that I’m supposed to drink from! There are insect egg sacks on the neck. Unacceptable.

brought as a christmas gift. removable outer skin, glass bottle. Would be good to know if you can buy optional extra Neoprene Sleeves. Other then that prefect gift and used 24/7

Perfect gift for my husband! Replaced his old metal water bottle which he didn’t like - due to the smell from the bottle and taste of the water from it.
