Signature Housewares Sorrento Collection Individual Pasta Bowls, Gold Antiqued Finish, Set of 4

I bought these bowls to replace the pasta bowls that came with my dinnerware. Most of those chipped from being put in the sink carelessly. Generously sized pasta bowls like this are hard to find. The ruby red is a rich color, but not bright or orangey. They stack nicely. At 2 inches tall, all 4 stack at a hair over 5 inches. Because of the straight sides, they don't fit well in my dishwasher but I can live with that. My dishwasher is a Miele and hardly anything fits well in it. Which is fine, because it doesn't clean very well anyway, but that's another review. 32 ounces filled the bowl to 1/4 of the rim. 24 ounces left 5/8inch to the rim. I haven't used them yet, but I know that I'll use these again and again, just like every pasta bowl I've owned. They'll also double nicely for serving side dishes.

I bought these dishes to go with my new Harker plates from Pfaltzgraff (which didn't have matching pasta dishes). Just what I wanted, the color matched well. However, I'm sure everyone out there gets disgusted when there are stickers on things that are impossible to remove. The item sticker on these dishes peeled off very nicely.......the problem was the four white strips that were stuck on the edges of the bottom. Why? I'm 57 years old and have bought several sets of dishes in my lifetime and have never seen white strips stuck on the bottom of any of them. Aggravated my arthritis, ruined my nails and were totally unnecessary, in my opinion.

Bought these to replace an inexpensive, plain white set of pasta bowls that we bought a couple years ago for everyday use. We use pasta bowls nearly every day for serving salad, casserole, ice cream and yes, pasta! I even use them for serving side dishes. They are just the right size for so many things!I ordered the red, hoping they would be a close match to my red Mainstay dishes (bought at Wally-World 2 yrs ago) for daily use. Guess what? The color is a PERFECT MATCH! I don't know how that happened but I'm glad it did! Going to add a customer image to show how well they matched...Haven't used them in the microwave, but it is worth mentioning there is a warning on the bottom of the dishes about ceramics getting hot in the microwave. I'll update if their is a problem...

I have a set of these in ivory. They are nice (heavy) stoneware, and a very practical size. I was a bit disappointed that there is no country of origin stated in the listing. Mine were labeled as Made in China.

The bowls were different than pictured on the website--they were shown as having brown accents like the ones we already had. When they arrived they were solid cover without the accents. We kept them rather than returning them because we figured we'd get the same bowls if we reordered them.

I bought these in the burgundy .. and it's only been a week of use, .. first of all there is paint drips.. totally imperfected items... and it was a box .. part of a set.. On top of that chip prove .. already chipped..

Not happy with the color.

I have been looking for a good-sized low bowl in which I can use for pasta, salads, etc. This is a very versatile bowl. I'm a new user so I can't really elaborate on the durability yet. They have been very good so far. Great in the dishwasher, doesn't get too hot in microwave and seem to be chip resistant. I'm very happy to add these bowls to my collection. They are a great size that suits our dining needs. Also, Amazon has a great value for the quality of the product. I would definitely recommend these bowls.
