For horses and people both! Smells great! Very very small amount needed even for big horse manes. Gosh I’ll always have this stuff in hand. Works like a charm, leaves a slight shimmer when done. Love this, even our kids use it when needed after swimming. Perfect item.

This product deserves a good review! I never do reviews. I have very long natural curly hair. The only way to comb through it is wet,a ton of PMitchell DETANGLER and a wide tooth comb. A hand full of my hair is still pulled out while combing out tangles. After shampooing and conditioning I put KNOTTY HORSE all through my hair and when I combed through it I was really shocked when my comb went through it without stopping!!!! OMG! None of my hair was pulled out! I’m 56 years old and have tried hundreds of products for my hair. This is a must have!!! My daughter is 10 with thick straight hair. She alway have a matted up mess in the back of her head. She fights me everytime I tried to comb out her hair. Until knotty Horse! I wish I would have known about this stuff years ago. The pain and drama we went through to get her tangles out before. Now I put a little throughout her hair while dry and can comb right through! I promise you will never find anything work as good as this product. You get a lot for your money. The scent is nice and it doesn’t make your hair feel or look greasy.

I cannot say enough good things about this product! I drip it along the topline and brush down from there. If my horses main is particularly matted, I'll drizzle a little more farther down in his main, but I only have to do that if I'm not using this weekly, which rarely happens. I drizzle some at the dock of the tail then down the tail with the tail split in to groups. Then I just brush from the top down. If the end of his tail is knotted and dry, I'll put a little in my palm and with it in. I also love to use this on the sides and under the tail bones where it can get crusty and itchy for the horses. My horse loves have his tailbone massaged, and I've seen an improvement in his skin. The smell is pleasant, not chemically like other detanglers. I've used this on myself too. The best part is your hands are left super smoothe, so it's a two for one! A word of caution though. If you're handling a spirited horse afterward or plan on riding, you'll need to wash your hands because they will be soft and slick, and holding the reigns or lead rope may be difficult... not that I'm speaking from experience 😅

Love the scent and works wonders. Detangles my gelding's mane and tail with ease. Leaves it shiny and tangle free. Yes I highly recommend it for human hair. My hair is wavy and prone to tangles and very dry ends. I use in my hair after I shower and let it sit for a quick minute. I apply starting at mids to ends. I would apply closer to the root for hair growth. The brush runs through with little or no tangles. Brushes out tangle free for a few days. Leaves my ends soft and shiny. This is the only detangler you'll ever need.

This stuff smells amazing! It also works great! My Friesian’s tail was a matted mess from the pasture and I got it brushed out in under 10 minutes. Life saver for sure!

I've been using this stuff on my horse's tail for years. It is literally magic in a bottle. It keeps her tail in amazing shape - tangle free, hydrated all the way to the base of the tail (no rubbing!!!), and looking amazing. I've gotten almost everyone at the barn on the bandwagon for this product too (along with the shampoo and conditioner they make). If you're looking for a detangler that actually works, look no further. Once you try it, you'll never look for another one... and good news... the big bottle easily lasts 6-9 months, if not longer. A little really does go a long way!
