Deft Dante 360: Rotating White Kindle Fire Original Generation Case (One-Piece Folio Kindle Fire Cover Multi-angle Vertical and Horizontal Stand for NON HD Version)

I don't typically write reviews, but thought it was worth it for this item. I LOVE it! And I thought people should know since I had such a hard time deciding on a case for my Kindle Fire. I looked at so many different cases, and they all had some sort of complaints that concerned me. I finally settled on this one, thanks to the video review. I am so thankful I chose this one! Here's why:-It feels and looks very well made. Durable and sturdy. Nice stitching around the leather.-The "grooves" to stand it up are deep enough to hold it in place, even while using the screen. I can even rest it on my lap and stand it up for use. There are three different grooves for different viewing angles. It doesn't stand up vertically on the first slot (as one of the other reviews pointed out), but I don't think it was meant to. That slot is for horizontal viewing.-It has the ability to stand up horizontally AND vertically, with NO VELCRO! And it's all one piece. It rotates on a silver "ring" of sorts, as you can see in the pictures. Kudos to the designer for that.-It's a very basic design, but is actually quite stylish in my opinion. It's not a boring, generic case.-The magnetic closure is totally functional and kind of cool. I like that there's no "bump" for a clasp or other kind of closure. It works really well, despite what some of the other reviews say. The cover stays tightly closed but is not difficult to open for use.-The power button, charging access, and light sensor are all exposed (as they should be).*My only concern when I bought it was that it wouldn't feel slim enough. I didn't want it to be too bulky (By "bulk," I mean size, not weight). And, I must say it isn't especially slim. However, you're gaining protection for your kindle and some style. Honestly, it's such an awesome case that I don't care about the little bit of extra bulk that it adds. It's pretty minor.If you are feeling skeptical, don't! You will be very pleased with this purchase.

This case fit my kindle well, looks great, rotates easily, and is fairly stable at most settings. I have a little trouble with stability when vertical at the most upright setting and when horizontal at the least upright setting. It would be nice if there was another notch closer to the spine of the case so that it could sit a bit more upright when horizontal. Right now I set it up with the case resting closer to the spine and hope that the friction of the lining keeps it upright.Edit: fell apart after extremely light use within 3 weeks of purchase. The grommet fell out while I was reading - no twisting or pulling, just sitting there. I had to return it, rating has been updated.

It was important to me to find a Kindle case that had both landscape and portrait positions, and the swivel arrangement on this product seemed unique. Unfortunately, the swivel was really the only satisfactory part of this case.-Even the highest of the two angles available in portrait is too shallow to read unless you are hunched almost directly over it.-The edges of the "frame" don't lie quite flat, making it look cheap.-The magnets intended to hold the cover shut are so weak as to be reluctant to grab each other at all, and pop apart at the barest nudge.-The white of the leather looked dingy before it was even out of its baggie, and there were several tiny brown flecks scattered around the surface.

Protects the kindle, works as it should

GREAT case for the $! My husband wanted a black case because he was concerned about the white getting dirty (8 months later and it still looks new) but that would have defeated the purpose of buying a white iPad...(love white!) The case is very durable, has a very soft feel, does not look cheap at all, stays put when put in the upright position, and the magnetic strip makes it easy to flip close. Would have given it 5 stars if it could lock in place in a vertical position.

I have had this kindle case for about a week now and it is very nice. It turns smooth but is secure. The white color is great, very clean and will easily wipe off without problems. (Not sure what people do to get there cases so dirty anyway, you would think that one would be careful what you do with it since your kindle is inside.) It stands up very nice and sturdy. The magnet is strong and works great to keep it closed also. Your kindle will slip inside then you secure it with a flap that has no velcro or magnet but it strong and secure and your kindle will not fall out. The sensor and the power button along with the speakers and opening for the charger are all easy to get to and in an open area. It is also not to big or puffy but it has enough padding and protection, it fits in my purse great too. The stiching is nice and tightly put together, great quality. I like it a lot and am very happy that I choose this one because I looked forever!

I looked at all the cases available for my Kindle Fire and read a ton of reviews. I considered buying a case that was less expensive but in the end decided on this one and I am not disappointed! It is sturdy in all positions (except the vertical swivel stand position but I found it to be acceptable on a solid surface and will rarely use that position anyway). The magnets that hold the flap closed when not in use feel very secure yet are easy to open. I chose the color white for my case (to match my laptop), it is very chic, not too white but not dingy either.I was also very impressed with Devicewear's follow-up and costumer service. A few days after I received my product they emailed me to make sure I was happy with my purchase and to let them know immediately if I wasn't. You just don't get that kind of follow-up anymore...especially on Amazon.All in all, for $22 I am a very happy I chose this case.

When I put my kindle fire in the case I was expecting a more snug fit. Instead, I got a lose fit. My kindle fire constantly kept on slipping and I had to fix the strap that held my kindle fire in place. This case is a five star case. But to me, it is slightly lose. Other than that,nthis is a wonderful case to buy becausenit is very sturdy. Also the metal piece that rotates the case, is very strong. The kindle fits perfect in all the grooves. I love it!
