Fortunately, it won't start if the fob isn't physically in the car or do not have power, so there's little risk that anyone can steal the car. I immediately went about replacing the battery which I thought would take 2 seconds, Well, neither the car parts store (Auto Zone) nor Home Depot carried this specific model. As always, the duracell batteries never let you down with their long lasting battery life. A bit expensive than other brands but it's totally worth it.
