Very bad product
After two days, the radio will suddenly start beeping and the menu buttons won't work. This is the third radio I bought from amazon in a year. They all have problems. I'm a gm certified technician who has been working in cars for 24 years, so it's not my problem.

Awesome Car Stereo for your daily driver
I drive a 99 Corolla and have about a 35 minute commute daily. I use this time to make personal calls and listen to music. The stock radio was just not allowing me to utilize my car's speakers, so I got this diminutive radio for a $26. It was but a third of the depth of my stock radio, and took about 10 minutes to install, raising doubt about its efficacy. Fortunately, my worries were for naught, as this thing is exactly what I needed. I pretty much have it set permanently to BT to pair with my phone, as I am classy and rock Spotify when I roll, so I control this exclusively from my phone, but its fun to keep the fully functional flat-remote in the glove compartment, for fun. Between the phone audio, and this units capacity, I get rich booming bass and crispy highs. Mind you that this is a stock 1999 Corolla sound system, and it sounds wonderful. As expected, phone calls are possible and work as expected. The number lighting is a muted red that comes up sharply and reliably when you start the car goes from displaying "bt off" to "bt on" as soon it pairs with your phone, which takes about 1 second. The best part about this unit is that you can leave a male-to-male aux cable so passengers can rock their jams if you let them by plugging into their phone's headphone jacks (if they got 'em). This radio is a boon to us working class folk that want to live well but don't sport the coin. High quality music when I go to and from work is my reward for this purchase, and that makes this a worthy investment. Oh one more thing, it has two metal bendy metal adapters to help it sit flush with my car's trim panel, but I haven't installed them yet (probably never will) but it will flush mount your radio if you are an "i" dotter and "t" crosser.

WOW! What a super easy install that was, Great value and high quality interface
WOW! What a super easy install that was! Awesome stereo. Very happy with purchase. I would definitely recommend this over any other stereo. Only a couple cons but not a big enough deal to rate less then 5 star. The install was simple. I just matched the existing wires from the previous SONY stereo that went out. This will be a great plus as driving around here while on cell phones can mean a nice ticket if caught. The instructions were very clear and easy to understand

Great Product, Worth buying
My husband just bought a box truck recently. however in the truck it only comes with the stereo radio only, Sometime when he have to drive a long distance the radio doesn't work good on some area. This MP3 player and USB Help a lot during the long drive. He just drove back from Sacramento and he just so happy during the long drive he can enjoy the music and no disturb at all. Thanks for the good price

Easy install and great sound
My husband has an older car and the radio broke quite a while ago. He didn't want to spend a whole lot of money on a new one so he got this one because it was priced just right and had all the features he wanted. It was easy to install and has great sound quality. Also comes with a remote. Really nice stereo!

Started rough, ended badly after a couple months. Don't waste your money.
UPDATE 2 (1 star):I really try to avoid giving one-star reviews if there's ANYTHING redeemable about a product, but now about a month after my first update (below), I finally gave up on this unit and pulled it out. The last straw for me was when the bluetooth AND aux jack completely quit working. All I had left was noisy, staticky radio that sounded terrible and whined any time the engine was running.. nothing else about the radio even functioned. In fact, if you're willing to pay for postage I'm happy to send it to you at no charge - but I'm telling you the box it comes in will be worth more than the unit. Terrible. And just so you know I'm not insane, the unit I replaced it with (Sony MEX-N4200BT) sounds AMAZING... solidly built, picks up every radio station flawlessly, crisp highs, punchy lows, all functions work perfectly. I spent $100 on it, but worth every penny.UPDATE 1 (2 stars):Okay, after owning this thing for a week, I'm afraid I need to downgrade my rating. The main reason is the receiver. Yes, it technically picks up stations, but there is a lot of static on all but the very strongest stations. 80% of stations in my area (Tulsa, OK) have static. Some are so bad I can't even understand what the hosts are saying. It almost feels like you're listening to AM stations. Also, the noise filter is completely ineffective. Any time the engine is running I can hear the whine of the ignition system through the speakers (Honda Civic). The old radio (a 15 year old Pioneer) never had any whine, and didn't have a separate filter. I suppose I'll eventually get used to it, but I'll be looking to replace this unit in the next year.Frankly, just not worth it. 2 stars because it DOES work - just not well.ORIGINAL REVIEW (3 stars):My first impression upon opening the box was “uh-oh”. The unit is about half the depth of normal units, and weighs maybe 4 ounces. Cheaply built and light. Button feel is hollow and “clicky”. Be gentle with it and it should be okay. While hooking up a stereo, I generally turn the balance and fade completely one direction so I can be sure I get the correct speaker. Well, with this radio don’t waste your time. The wire colors aren’t correct and anyway, the balance and fade don’t even work properly. Just hook up all the speakers (fortunately the polarity seemed correct) and leave the balance and fade dead center. Good enough for most idiots like me.I was pleasantly surprised when I accidentally shorted two speaker wires together... The unit shut down that speaker only and left the others going. Removing and restoring the power completely “rebooted” it and it fully recovered. There’s apparently no display brightness adjustment, but so far I’m fine with it. The only lights are a red “calculator” display so it’s visible in the day but won’t be too bright at night (I hope - will update if I decide otherwise or I can’t find the adjustment). The aux jack worked fine and Bluetooth was a cinch. I placed a call on Bluetooth and the other person said I sounded “tinny” but understandable. The call quality on my end was poor, but definitely usable. However, the sound quality when playing music from my phone through both the aux and Bluetooth were excellent. Pleasantly surprised. The tuning leaves a lot to be desired. Whether I select “local” or “dx” I get station overlap and it seems to pick up harmonic frequencies - meaning that a strong local station appears in multiple places on the dial. If you live out in the country don’t expect great performance from the tuner. Also, it may be possible, but I can’t figure out how to manually tune (it seems to only want to “scan” for stations).Overall, it technically works well enough to be worth the $30 I paid. It has a bit of a learning curve as the calculator display isn’t terribly informative, but I’m sure after a few weeks I’ll understand it well.If you’re looking for a GOOD stereo in your new car, you’ll be disappointed. But if you’re looking for a working stereo to replace the broken one in your beater, it’ll do.
