Virtual Pinball nudging
The media could not be loaded. First, I love the fast shipping. It got here quick! My windows 10 computer did not recognize it and had to use a Windows 7 computer to update it and now it works like a charm in Windows 10. I am using this on a virtual pinball table to enable nudging. I am using Pinscape software to control it as joystick. I know this board can do more, I am only using it for nudging for now.

Great little device, i remember when they were cheaper...
To anyone having trouble getting this to work on Windows 8+, you may need to update the bootloader from a Windows 7 machine to the latest version. After, you shouldn't have any issues. I have read about issues with USB 3, but I haven't run into any after 6+ months with daily usage.

This evaluation board is very useful to programate your embedded applications
This evaluation board is very useful to programate your embedded applications. The only "issue" is that you have to update the bootloader from a Windows 7 machine. After that, you can use the board without any issue. In fact, I use it in a Windows 10 machine without problems. I think this happen in all FRDM evaluation boards, because I had the same issue with a FRDM-KE02Z40M board.

Fantastic little board for virtual pinball
I'm using this board with Pinscape to control my virtual pinball buttons and it's been fantastic. Highly recommend going this route if you're contemplating a zero delay controller board.

and it works fine on Windows 7
I purchased this board from Digikey, and it works fine on Windows 7. If you are using this via MBed on Windows 8 or 10 there are still a lot of programming bugs. Simply plugging it in will wipe might wipe the previous program from memory. The USB applications are not yet compatible with Windows 8 or 10 as well.Although If you plan on coding all of your firmware from scratch the hardware will work; but I purchased this for the Mbed compatibility.

A solid upgrade from an Arduino.
Much more processing power than an arduino, but I still prefer a raspberry pi if I can afford the power. This was used for a battery operated automated car so I wanted something of low power that could handle a good amount of inputs and output. I wish there was built in wifi, but it ran fine with the esp8266.
