Smarty Pants Supplies Mildew Resistant PEVA Shower Curtain Liner with Rust-Proof Metal Grommets, Ultra Clear

I have been using this liner for about a month now and I am so far very happy with it.I was using a white liner and tried this clear one with the hope that it would let more light through as I do not have a ceiling light in my shower.It does just that and even better than I hoped for. I use a shower head with a hose and have always rinsed my liner down when I'm finished showering. I have not seen any soap residue or cloudiness, the liner is still crystal clear after 40 + showers.Update: I wrote the above review in Feb 2015, it is now August 2015 and the PEVA (polyethylene vinyl acetate) liner has begun to show signs of curling at the ends and even some signs of cloudiness or maybe even mildew. The curling is bad enough to overpower the magnets.Still I liked this curtain liner enough that if I have to buy 2 in a year I don't think that is unreasonable and due to the lack of that horrible smell you get with some of the others, I will buy this one again.

Finally a shower curtain liner that does not get slimy and moldy. No matter how many times we would wash our others they never got clean. This liner is wonderful and does not smell. I like that I can take a shower without having to breath in the awful chemical smell. You would not be sorry to order this one. I got the frosted one. I also like that the company Smarty pants emails you just to see if all is ok. They are a company I would buy from again because of the customer service and awesome product.

Have not had a chance to take down old curtain and put up this one - but there does NOT seem to be any odor! My husband and I both prefer the clear plastic shower curtains, either as a liner or alone. However, they usually have a HORRIBLE odor for the first week or so after opening the package. Mildew won't be an issue until our humid Indiana summer starts - hope this curtain really does help with that! I always launder fabric shower curtains in the washer, and dry them in the dryer. I've also done that SOMETIMES with plastic curtains, using the gentle cycle, with at least a half hour soak - then dried on either very low heat or no heat in the dryer. That only works with fairly substantial and sturdy plastic curtains, and this one does look as though it WOULD hold up. I really am NOT a fan of hand-scrubbing shower doors or curtains, but I hate the look of mildew, and mold is one of my husband's many allergies...

I am a shower door person and hated curtains cause they are cheap and blow in on you. I was wrong. Paired with a curved rod, this curtain is amazing. Its thick, and literally does not move! After doing a week of research on liners, I settled on this one. This is definitely a must buy!

I love this shower curtain so much..that....I ordered a second one immediately. It is everything they advertise... No smell...environmentally safe and very easy to put up... You must use NON-TOXIC is you care about your health and your family's... When you open the package...there is no order...and when you take a hot shower....no order.... I love this shower curtain and I recommend it highly...

This is a very good quality shower curtain. We were going through cheap store vinyl curtains at a ridiculous pace. I have not seen any wear, mold or mildew. It is also very heavy weight and hangs straight down with out wrapping around you in the shower. I purchased this with Wrenwane stainless steel curtain hooks and the Moen fixed curved rod. After using this set up I wished that I had done this years ago.

This thing really is premium. I've never had a shower curtain last this long without getting mildew or stains or... stink like that other cheap stuff.
