Rolson 62845 Folding Lock-Back Knife, Red, Grey

Major issue. I received a red one! Prefer it to blue anyway.A very good and compact folding knife that accepts easily available blades which are easy to change when necessary. One blade already fitted plus 10 extra in a refillable dispenser.Possibly not sturdy enough for professional use but it is well made. Folds and opens as it should.The supplied balades are very sharp. I have blades from that well known brand beginning with St and these are as good, if not better.The blade does have a removable plastic guard which I do use. It's probably going to become lost at some stage. A bit fiddly to refit - I stabbed my thumb slightly when doing so.Really good value for money.

I bought this knife for use while in the garden I found it excellent for my jobs.

I’ve had many knives as A Trade Man, but these are the best that I’ve come across. This is my second purchase of this and I won’t be changing. Great build quality and great price.

I have had one of these for 15 years, unfortunately I managed to loose my first one while working so ordered this as a direct replacement. Folds away and clips onto my belt, while it’s not great for cutting floor tiles (it’s not ergonomic) it’s brilliant for everyday use and hasn’t folded unexpectedly. Supplies blades are fairly inexpensive so I would pair with a good quality blade for the best experience. Changing the blade is very easy and much better than older units where the blade is captive and requires you to unscrew the side.

This is about the best knife of this type. Easy to change the blades without a screwdriver, which is important!

I can't fault it.Still as solid as the first day I received it, and have used it excessively as an architecture student making models of all sizes. For the amount of money you spend this is an amazing utility/craft knife. It folds away so there's no worry of you cutting yourself, and locks into place simply and sturdily for use.The blades will dull of course, and it's best to change them often both for the quality of your work and your own safety - (sharper knives = less force used + cleaner cuts if you do cut yourself) - I ordered the Rolson 100 pack in a dispenser, and just restock the mini dispenser that holds about 10 blades at a time to throw into one of my small tool cases in my backpack.Very very good and cheap tool. I'd be happy paying double.

Great Stanley blade knife, ideal for all DIY jobs, nice and easy to use not like other bigger stanley knifes which can be cumblsum. Recommend for all diy'ers, easy blade change and comes with a pack of new blades included.
