~~Three stories in this one...all featuring Lucky the Lion!!~~
Three entertaining and exciting stories featuring the Lion cub...Lucky. He doesn't want to babysit his brothers and sisters and keeps wandering off...He much prefers to practice his 'adventure' side.Well, Mama comes racing after him and gives a mighty ROAR each and every time he disappears and is late for his 'chore'.What his Mom discovers is that Lucky does have some skills in the adventure side of him. All is well that ends well..My favorite of the three was the one that featured Pec the Grey African Parrot in it...Bullying is discussed as is helping others when in need. Also, don't be afraid of someone just because he/she is different.Highly recommended.

I did not like some negative messages but cute story.
Lucky the Lion Cub's Quest is a cute 3 part story about a little lion cub and his adventures. I got this in hopes that it would be a good read for my daughter who is 3 before bed, however I think it's more for a child who is learning to read themselves, maybe 7 or 8. I think it's a cute little book, with well rounded characters from the Animal Kingdom. In the first book Lucky meets a little lizard name Leon who is lost and needs to find his way home, the second book he meets a bird named Pec the parrot who has sprained his wing and needs to get home, and in the third book he meets two monkey's named Ma'ku and Ma'ka and they get into a little adventure together and meet another animal called Anton the anteater.I like the fact that it teaches the kids to be whatever they want to be, as well as to help other people, and to not judge people by how they look and that even people who look different could become your closest friends. However in each mini book the character meets a stranger who he instantly goes off with, which I think is a very bad thing to teach our children is ok. In the second book the author strangely calls the main character by what i assume is his full name, Luke, which gets a bit confusing when we have not heard him called anything other than Lucky in all the rest of the book. Odd. And the first book I really didn't like the fact that he seem not to be listening to his mother, and that it was just ok. Other than that I thought the stories were very cute as long as you don't read too much into them. I received this product at a discounted rate

Lucky Loves Adventure
The book contains three short adventures featuring Lucky, a lion cub, who does not like to babysit for his mother. Instead, he goes off seeking adventure. Lucky becomes friends with a lizard, an African grey parrot, and twin monkeys. Each time he teaches young readers to help those in need and solves a problem. This book claims children in the five to seven year old range as the target audience. It would have worked better with pictures as the amount of text is difficult for that age range. In addition, there are some spelling and editing issues.I believe the book works best as a beginning chapter book for children ages six through eight who will understand the messages inherent in the story.

Would have been better with pictures! But still cute.
After showing this book cover to my children they were so excited for me to read it to them! But not too long into the book my kids got very bored and wanted to stop. They usually love me reading then books. But this one had no pictures except for the one on the cover. Mind you my kids are very young only 6 and 3 years old. So they were not very entertained with this book although they did laugh a few times here and there. Overall the book was a little too long for my kids. But it does have 3 different stories in one book. It is a cute story for kids but more along the lines for like 7-9 year olds maybe.I got this product at a discount in exchange for my honest and unbiased review. I was in no way compensated for this review (except for the discount I received while purchasing the product). I only purchase products I normally use or need; and base my reviews against past experiences or comparative products. Well Written and Engaging Stories for Children
My six year old son and eight year old daughter really enjoyed this book. The book tells three little stories of the adventures of Lucky- a little lion cub. My son wanted the book to have pictures, so we kept referring to the cover art. My daughter is older and a more experienced reader and didn't mind that there are no pictures. The writing is so descriptive and the author does a great job of developing the story, and my children were quickly engrossed in the stories. Both of my kids were able to read most of the story on their own, with just a little help with some words. We do home school at our house, and this would be a good book for a book report, teaching descriptive writing, and teaching how to write conversations. The book consists of three little stories, and each story teaches some lesson or moral. The book teaches the importance of helping others and being a real friend. It also shows the importance of being a real friend, being brave, and not judging others based on their appearance. The book is not preachy, but does a good job of intertwining the lessons into the story. My son loved reading about all of the different animals and their adventures. My daughter also liked the little riddle that the snake had for Lucky. The writing and stories are very engaging for children and did a good job of holding their attention. They didn't get bored with these stories. I think they will want to read this over and over again and they would also like to read more stories about Lucky the lion cub. I did receive this book for free in Kindle Cloud Reader for reviewing and giving my honest and unbiased opinion.

Great moral story
This is one of them books that has a great moral story (this one is dont automatically be scared of someone because they look different), it has great fun cute characters, who doesn't love lion cubs and monkeys!, One big thing I think this book lacks that would engage the reader more and draw them in is some illustrations, something to add a bit of colour and help them to imagine the animals on their adventures. I did also notice a confusing part when the lion cubs name went from lucky to lucas to luke in three different paragraphs which was certainly confusing.andSome good proof reading and editing plus illustrations would take this from a four star to a solid five in my opinion

My review on:Lucky the lion cub quests (the great book for younger readers)
When my dad got this book on amazon.com,i read this book and i enjoyed it ... but it needs a bit of improvement. ienjoyed this book because my favorite chracter is lucky. One thing thats surprised me(it really did ) was when lucky mistaked an anteater for a monster! i have nothing else to say but this: i recommend this book for younger readers because :1. it has short chapters and2. because the book has short but exciting adventures ,don t you think? i hope you have enjoyed this review and i hope you like this book as much as i do.

Small kids love it
My daughter of almost 3y will not sleep until she's heard Lucky the Lion, and more specifically the chapter about the twin monkeys (Ma-Ku and Ma-Ka). Other animals in the book allows for some exciting voice differentiation (but it's not too many to become confusing). Highly recommend this book -- I'd happily pay for a continuation. :)

My both kids love it
Lucky is a really good and inspiring character which is really an important aspect for me when reading stories to the kids. The Lion pub is courageous, kind and adventurer and loves to help others. This is something all the kids should aspire.Stories are short so easy to read as well :)
