You can read just fine in the "more vertical" position when the tablet is either horizontal or vertical, but if you try to touch the screen in that position you have to do it carefully else the tablet and case tip backward. The lower angle position works fine. The spinning center is a nice feature, and it closes up well. Plus love the color!
