This sand is so much fun to play with. I bought this for myself, as I love textures, and it relaxes me. I Originally put the sand in a white mixing bowl and then after a couple days, realized it was staining it. So I transferred the sand to a Shallow cardboard box, lined with a garbage bag. I scrubbed and scrubbed the mixing bowl and could not get the green color out. I eventually used a magic eraser and the color came out mostly. So...I now know that it stains. Also when you’re playing with the sand, you can get this fine colored residue between your fingers and on your finger tips, and it won’t come off with just water or a towel, you will need to scrub your hands with soap too.Gosh I couldn’t even imagine getting this sand on my carpets, you’d probably never be able to get it out. But....it’s fun to play with, very cathartic, and as an adult, it’s fun to just take a few minutes every day and mold a sea turtle or a lizard with the sand.

My 2 1/2 yr old grandson just played with it for the first time. His interest lasted about a half hour, but I think as he matures, his attention span will grow as well. The colors are rich and beautiful. The texture is lovely; feels great to squish through your fingers, even if you’re a grandma.Cleanup is easy. We played on a vinyl tablecloth on the kitchen floor. It clings to clothing but brushes off easily. It sweeps up easily, but picked up dog hair and other bits of stuff from the floor. The loss was minimal.A complete hit in the end!!

Ordered for my sister because she loves slime but slime sticks everywhere and we have carpet in a room and it was a mess. Then when the slime started to dry out she would add water, lotion, soap, etc. so that its squishy consistency would maintain. I decided to try this after my parents kind of banned slime in the house, this sand does not dry out, literally, it does not sick (yay!!) and if it falls in carpet the vacuum does the job, and it can also be shaped! As a plus it is really cheap!! Give it a try!!

This is perfect for my 4 year old. She loves playing with it. It came with two colors and mixing them made a third color .... sooo cool. It is super easy to clean as you can just vacuum anything that hits the floor. Way better than play dough. Would definitely be buying more colors. A+++

My sons, ages 4 and 5, love kinetic sand! It's so much fun to play with and (a little bit) less messy than regular sand. My boys tend to drop it on the floor a lot, so I make them play with it outside. This package is large and a great price.

We have a great time with this stuff in my house. This is one of those items that pays to get the better/brand name stuff. I had bought a pharmacy brand on a whim and we liked it, so when it ran out from being dropped on the floor, I decided to buy the real stuff and I'll never go back. I've bought three bags since realizing how much LESS of a mess it makes. It will last longer and you don't have to vacuum after every time they play with it.

My daughter absolutely was mesmerized plying with this sand! I remembered loving it as a kid and thought with so much time at home she might enjoy it and she was quiet for HOURS. If you’re a parent you know that we’d pay a lot for some peace and quiet for once! 😂 I caught myself getting lost in the zen of messing around with it a FEW times so I think it’s 10/10 for all ages!I will definitely be buying more for her in the future!Though I will say that I think it’s more wet (?) feeling than I remember and is a liiiiitle sticky on the hands. Gotta rub them off!

You will lose a bit of the sand everytime you play, but my 3 year old LOVES this, and I have to admit, so do I (and I'm 38!). We play with this sand and she will go on playing, it has seriously helped limit her screen time and increase her creativity and fine motor skills. The amount is great too, I only gave her half and she played with that just fine. Not that difficult to clean up either and it molds great. I got the molds as well to make it more fun.
