I had been using the Apple brand XR case but didn’t like how badly fingerprints show, and also didn’t like that the bottom portion where the speakers are was exposed. Why Apple thought that was a good idea, I don’t know, but it just felt too exposed for my liking. I shopped for a couple of weeks, looking at clear cases from all brands. I have the red phone and didn’t want to risk the red not matching perfectly—because yes, I’m that kind of person who would be annoyed by that kind of thing—so I ordered this case in black. It just arrived and as soon as I put it on, I knew this is the perfect case for me. It is just slightly wider than the Apple brand case, which doesn’t bother me. It has a nice lip that protects my screen when placed face-down. The camera appears to also be just below the lip around the camera cutout. The edges are slightly more angular than the Apple case, which in my opinion, makes it easier to hold. The Apple case was just a little too curved and too smooth. This case, although smooth, feels much more secure in my hands, and while it does show fingerprints, it’s not nearly as bad as the Apple case. The black looks great against the red, and looks great with the black and red PopSocket I have.

This is one of the few single piece covers that actually has a lip above the phone. It’s not very deep but better than others I’ve tried. I’d like the lippage for the camera in the back to be higher but you pick your battles. I like the colored edge so I can find the it “sleeping” on a dark surface. My only issue is how I hold the bottom with my pinky, that the bevel of the ports could feel softer with a different material. But I like the snug fit and the feel in my hand. Fingerprints will show in the back but we should clean our most handled things frequently anyways. It’s a yes for me....

I really like this case. The fit is excellent but is not hard to remove the phone if you need to. The grips is good to great depending on how you hold it. The case edges are rubber and have a great grip. The back of the case can be slick (like holding your new phone without a case). However, I have not dropped it due to this fact. I have drop my phone 3 times (because I was not paying attention) from about 5 feet onto a wood floor and there has been no damage to the case or phone.Most importantly - the color really is true to the iPhone color. The clear backing shows my phone off nicely. There has been no yellowing of the plastic but I have noticed my fingerprints showing sometimes (again just like when you hold your new phone without a case). I have a family member that is notoriously picky when it comes to phone cases and the moment he saw and felt the case he ordered one for his phone. Overall I am very happy with this case.

Did the job of protecting the phone a few times, but the clear baking eventually seperated from the side layers.

I bough the clear case with red bumper for my blue iPhone X. I love this case. Previously I had used a big otterbox case with my last iphone because I did not want to crack another glass screen. It did the trick but was so bulky.This time I decided to slim things down a bit. I’ve dropped my phone a bunch of times (always trying to do too many things at once). No dents or cracks!! Woo hooo!!!So I’ve had the case for over a year now. Yesterday I left my phone on my car bumper and drove a few miles before remembering about my phone. A Good Samaritan found my phone on the side of the road (without a scratch) and called my home and I was able to pick up my phone for her. Yay!!

This case worked fine for the first year, then the removeable buttons started falling out and the hard plastic back panel started falling off. The sales add said limited lifetime warrantee, but I can't find a way to contact the manufacturer.

I bought this case in yellow last February and it has been one of my most favorite phone cases ever. I love that you can see my yellow phone through the clear case and the yellow on the edges matches the phone exactly. I’m a clumsy person that tends to carry everything at once to avoid multiple trips, and this case has protected my phone just fine. I’m a decent height at 5’8” so I‘d like to think it’s definitely worth it’s price. My only -meh- about it, is that it has started to yellow on the sides where one holds their phone, but that’s completely understandable and expected I think - after all it’s been a whole year with the same case on. I plan to reorder one, I somewhat wish there were more color options though.

At first I thought this was a little too costly for a thin, clear case. After receiving it, I’m very pleased. I have a white back iPhone and the white on the sides are a nice touch. This is about my 8th clear case. In spite of promises, these cases always yellow especially on the edges. I’m eager to see how this one weathers over time. Today however it looks great. I was concerned that the white sides would look cheesy but it looks very sharp, like it’s part of the phone. I’ll update it in a few months to see if this case in fact masks the yellowing that takes place on every clear case. Im pleased to see it’s a tight fit and all the buttons are accessible. Seems super protective too, while maintaining its thinness. Just ordered a second one in red for my wife.
