WOW, awesome seat. I have been riding MTB for 20 yrs and recently Expert MTB
BEST SEAT ridden after 30 yrs on MTB. I recently purchased a High rated 5 star seat for my anolog bike seen on MTB reviews , but now that i am on e-bike mountain biking much longer seat time this SMP gives me no pain after 25 miles. better bargain than the other seat WTB Koda. THis SMP has an improved surface super easy to clean off the mudd. given my experience i dont see how this could get any better. Nice work SMP !I think i will sell my others and buy another

Great for my Crotch, Not for my Thighs
I got this saddle after having issues with my crotch going numb after 10 miles or so and then being sensitive from the prolonged pressure. The good news is that this saddle completely solved that problem for me! It’s a pretty firm saddle and I feel no pressure on my crotch anymore. I do feel pressure on my sit bones but that’s inevitable. It wasn’t terrible and the discomfort didn’t last once I got off the saddle. The way the tip dips down, though, created a new problem for my thighs. I wore shorts for a 25 mile ride and wasn’t anticipating that my thighs would rub against the tip; I’ve never had a saddle that dips like this so it’s never been an issue, and I tested it on a short ride when wearing pants so I hadn’t noticed it. Ouch! I ended up with some bad blisters as a result. Just a word of warning if you have thicker thighs like me, always make sure they’re covered so you don’t end up with blisters!Otherwise I’m very happy with the saddle. It’s great quality and my rides are more comfortable for it, just so long as I wear longer shorts!

Tried over 5 high end seats and this is the most comfortable
I ride Mtn bikes and the past year have fought saddle sores and just sit bone area pian off and on but mostly on until now. I have tried Ergon, Ergon Core, SQ Lab 610 and many others different expensive saddles fighting saddle sores and sit bone pain. I’ve also made the usual saddle and bar adjustments, high end liners, chamois creams, post ride creams, supplements , etc. This seat has been key to my now being able to rid longer saddle sore free. While I’m considering the lighter Hybrid model, it’s too early to rock my recovery success. I think adding some l-lysine to my diet has also helped but hard to prove that of course. And I’ve also done a lot of very specific pt daily which all seems to be aided me 8n a positive way. But I can’t say enough about this Selle TRK saddle. I did tilt it up about 1/2 to 3/4 degrees to help force me me back onto the wider section of the saddle without feeling any added discomfort. I live how all the edges of this saddle are very well rounded.

Heavy and thick padding
This is not a lightweight saddle and it bulkier than saddles for either road or MTBs. But if you are looking to reduce perineal pressure and weight and size are not important then this is a comfortable saddle.

Great Quality, Style & Comfort
It's a Selle saddle and you can expect great quality. This is my fourth Selle saddle within the past 3 1/2 years. The comfortness is just excellent and the style is always at best!

Comfortable on 50 mile rides
I usually ride Ergon or Terry saddles. But I needed a white saddle, so I tried this one. Good price, etc. I'm so glad I did! It's soooo comfy! At the risk of TMI, I'll just say that the curves of the seat make it so that soft tissue doesn't even touch the seat. And the sit bone pads are placed perfectly. They're not so soft that you lose power transfer, but not so hard that you come home from a 70-miler sore. As a gauge, I'm a woman, mid-sixties, serious competitive cyclist for many years. I like stiff saddles, but mid sixties has me longing for just a tad bit of padding, and this seat does the trick. It needed no break-in. If there is a slight complaint, it's that the wide cutout can pinch a little bit. But readjusting on the fly fixes that quickly. I don't know what people are talking about when they say they had to readjust seat height and so on. My measurement from center of bottom bracket to sit bone pads was exactly the same on this seat as on my Terry and Ergon saddles.

Worthy of a 6th star
I’m a road cyclist who rides anywhere from 60 mi/wk up to 500 mi/wk and I prefer the geometry of a touring road bike. I’ve been riding many years and have ridden many different saddles. About 5 years ago, I invested in this SMP and paired it with my Trek 520. I call it an investment because that’s what it’s turned out to be, and the dividends just keep coming. I can say with zero hesitation that this saddle is the best I’ve ever had. I had ridden RAGBRAI before, but when I rode RAGBRAI using this SMP saddle, it just blew my mind. I kept waiting for the soreness, pain, discomfort - anything that comes with most bike saddles. But it never came. Even since getting it years ago, I’ve tried a few other saddles, one of those being a coveted Brooks B17 (the Imperial model, with the cutout in the middle similar to this SMP) - I come back to this SMP saddle every time. This saddle is so good, I bought another one, for two reasons: 1) To get a different color to better match the color scheme of my bike but mainly 2) so I can loan out the extra SMP saddle to friends and family who want to experience a superior bike saddle. Bike saddles are arguably the most important aftermarket purchase to make to truly personalize your bike for your body. If you’re a long distance cyclist, or if you’re a cyclist that defaults to the more upright/relaxed geometry of a touring road bike, then this saddle could very well be the one for you. For other, more traditional road cyclists, I have paired this SMP with my Trek Domane and have also quite enjoyed it. For the more aggressive geometry of the Domane though, I don’t know that this SMP is optimal.Yes, I highly recommend this product.

There are lots of Sella Italia saddles
I bought a Sella Italia brown saddle a few years ago. Comfy, but kinda ugly . I bought this one hoping it was the black version of the same seat. But it's a bit bigger, a little heavier, the cutout is larger, and It's more for a hybrid or mountain bike . Very comfy tho.... I put it on my hybrid.
