Once you learn how to use it properly it works great! Just be careful to keep the moon clip seated and engage the cartridge rim with the tool. Then allow the tool to guide them together. DO NOT "HELP" THEM!!

This is a must-have for anyone with a S&W 929 PC or Chiappa Rhino. I couldn't load those moonclips by hand at all. (Ruger works fine without a tool.)The tool is expensive, but you can buy differently sized mandrels to make it work with other guns.I loaded about 25 moonclips in about 20 minutes the first time I gave this a try. With practice, I'll probably get faster.I also have the case removal tool, which looks kind of like a screwdriver. It's helpful, too.PROS:-- Let's you load moonclips rapidly.-- Solid metal construction.-- Intuitive ease of use.-- Mandrels available in different calibers and sizes, so you can buy one tool and use it with different types of moonclips.-- Much faster and more comfortable than loading moonclips by hand.CONS:-- Expense. This isn't a cheap tool. I think I paid $79 for it, plus about $20 more for a S&W mandrel. I was very hesitant to get it due to cost, but I used some birthday money. I'm glad I got it because it works so well.2) Instructions aren't clear, but like I said, it's pretty easy to figure out.3) Despite Amazin Prime, this took several days to arrive.It seems as if there should be less expensive options out there that do the same thing, but I surely couldn't find any. Given what's available, this is easily the best choice. I'd buy it again if I had to.
