Pool Light. Brighter than 500W bulb replaced.
This is only 60 watts but itโs brighter than my 500 W bulb? Letโs hope last for a few years at least. The only thing I donโt like is it has a mechanical fan inside it and I donโt like any moving parts. The last bulb lasted 20 years. The price seems high relative to other LED bulbs on the market but what choice do we have?

Works with GFCI outlet fine - lasts about 3 years
Our pool light is GFCI protected per code, and the LED works fine. It's very bright (although seller doesn't disclose the lumens for some reason). It does suffer the same issue so far all LEDs I've used suffer from -- they don't like being in sealed environments so their lifespan is shortened. This one lasted about three years in our standard Pentair Pool light fixture.

Amazing Product. Great Value. A+
My 500 W incandescent bulb in the in ground pool started to flicker and in the process of dying. So I did some research and finalize on this 65W , 6500 Lumen Daylight LED bulb. When it came and I installed it I was blown away by the results. This bulb consumes around 1/10 the power of my original bulb but delivering at least 5 times the brightness. And even after using it for an hour it was going ok. In comparison my incandescent light would over heat and shutdown to self preserve. Mine is a 30000 gallon unground pool and this bulb makes it brighter that day from end to end. Take a look at the pictures.Note: In amazon they list 50 W and 65 W side by side. So if you want the brightness to be more you should go for 65W like I did.

greenish cast
I waited for everyone else in the family to see if they too would notice (and they did, everyone, eventually). This lamp appears greener than the LED lamp I replaced. But I changed brands due to what I considered an 'early failure' of its predecessor. I mean, it's alright, if you had nothing to compare it too. And I'm not jumping into the water now just to change it out again. So we'll keep it. But the other brand did look blue-er, you know? ...that effect of LED lamps you normally do NOT care for, but in a swimming pool, happens to look good? (New lamp on the left in the picture)

Worked well.. not great until it didnt
I installed this light to replace a 45W LED that just wasn't bright enough. It was brighter, but still not what i was hoping. Oh well it was fine in the end.Fast forward two seasons (4-5 months where I live). It died. LEDs are supposed to be super long lasting. This turns out to be just another demonstration of cheap made in China workmanship that, in te end, turns out to be very expensive over time.

Average product with lack of quality..
It's great amount of light in comparison to consuming power. But the quality of product fairly average. I have bulb led protection glass popped out on 2nd day (see photos). Unfortunately have light already sealed and have no intention to ask contactor to reinstall it. Just be aware that it might happen...

2nd go round
I ordered this same product a year ago, it went out within a year. Seal on the housing was fine, no water present.I'm giving this one another shot, so far so good.It is very bright & gives a nice cool blue appearance to the water.

Great Replacement for 500w Incandescent
I recently installed two 65W LED Pool Light Bulb, 6500LM 120V 6000K Daylight White LED to replace two burned out 500w incandescents. The conversion was just as easy as unscrewing the old bulb and screwing in the new one. Be sure to buy a new gasket when you do this job - in my case, the old gasket was baked onto the glass and completely unusable. The real treat was when darkness arrived and we turned on the pool lights. We were positively delighted with the bright, white light. Not to mention is the energy savings. The old bulb cost about a nickle an hour to operate while the new, LED bulbs burn for almost eight hours before they use the first nickle.
