I bought this as a last minute mount so that I could film my son’s fencing tournament. I needed something that would allow me to mount my Osmo pocket and phone to my monopod. I was scared of the purchase because it didn’t have a single review. I think this may be first blind online purchase and I was almost certain I was going to get burned. But the tournament is tomorrow and Best Buy didn’t have anything. My fear was it would just be another home made, 3D printed mount that I’ve seen for other tech gear. Wow, was I wrong. This thing is all metal and very solidly built. I’m not sure what design or utility advantage there is to being able to separate the Osmo Pocket bracket from the phone bracket but it connects with some very strong magnets. There’s no wiggle. This thing is basically a single piece of metal when connected together, but we’ll see how well it holds up over time. I’ve seen some similar mounts where they instruct you to flip the phone mount to be either on top for a hot shoe/mic attachment or below for a tripod. There is no need to do that with this one, because it actually comes with a hot shoe/mic attachment already. Both phone and Osmo Pocket brackets are covered with some type of dense foam to protect both devices. When holding it, it feels very solid and I don’t feel the same worries about accidentally disconnecting the two devices from one another when they aren’t in the mount. My only complaint is the price. It’s definitely more expensive than other mounts on Amazon, but because I don’t know how those are in comparison, I selected not to mark it down in my review. This was one of the few mounts that had a same day delivery option which is why I picked it. But I can’t say that I wouldn’t have tried one of the cheaper mounts if time wasn’t a factor. Overall, a very solid product and I’m happy with my purchase.

I cannot believe the quality of this thing. It is ALL metal. The part that holds the Pocket to the Phone holder is held by a couple pegs and a strong magnet. So it can easily be separated from the phone when you just wanna use the Pocket by itself, without having to remove the Pocket or the phone from their brackets.it also comes with 5 rubber washers(1 preinstalled and 4 extras) that allow you to adjust the phone alignment to the Pocket connector and remove and stress of it being misaligned. This allowed me to keep the case on my phone, while moving the phone outward just a bit, to adjust the alignment for the thickness of my case. If you are looking for a holder, THIS is the one you want.

So far, this has worked really great with use. I got this to be able to have a more secure connection between my phone and my DJI pocket camera and this work perfectly well for what I needed to do, it was easy to figure out how to use and I've had no issues using it on my Samsung Note 10 plus phone. The magnet between the two pieces is actually very strong and it holds my phone and the camera sturdy, this allows me to connect both without fear of damaging either item. The phone holder is adjustable so you can use it for a variety of different sizes of phone and I was able to use it both with and without my phone case on. I cannot wait to use this on vacation but so far, it has worked perfect. For the price, you definitely cannot go wrong with us and if you like to create stories through your DJI pocket camera, this is I must have.

Awesome must have for your Osmo Pocket if you’re going to use with your phone frequently. New firmware enables pro mode and the ability to change most things on the fly on the Pocket itself, but it’s still not the same as having the phone connected. While using the Mimo app in Pro mode you get Filmic Pro-esque control, and this holder is perfect to use in this configuration.All Aluminum build, and really strong magnets, and a clamp design for the phone ensures great grip on your phone and the Pocket. Just plugging your phone in the Osmo Pocket feels a little loose, not with this though! Great grip on the phone, and the Pocket while adding two features that the Pocket doesn’t have without expensive accessories.The two features it adds (other than the stability/grip of course) would be a cold shoe mount, and a standard camera 1/4” adapter hole. Both of these are above and below the phone holder, respectively.For the cost, it’s well worth it, and even adds more than what a few different “official” accessories add.

Solid Aluminum but poor workmanship. And what I received is not as the same as the one in the picture. My has two 1/4” screw holes in the arm that holds OP instead of a open slot where I can adjust the phone locking position freely.Sell has issued an USPS return label without issue. I will update when refund is received.

This Osmo Pocket and Cellphone holder is perfect and will work with a cellphone with a case. Made of aluminum, a strong magnet and very tight fight. I use the quick disconnect feature a lot, this holder is perfect for fast and easy setup and a must have for any kit.

Magnet that holds the two pieces together was not fast and well enough with the right type adhesive. So I had to epoxy the magnet and it works fine
