Jumbo Shopping Cart for Groceries or Laundry, Black

I don't know how I managed without this Easy Wheels jumbo shopping cart. We moved to a retirement apartment and while I don't grocery shop as much, this cart carries it all when I do, including bottled water. I only need to make one trip from my car to the apartment and the big wheels and sturdy handle make it easier. This old lady had no problem putting it together and my only hope is that it holds up to the weight and wear I give it. Great product!As a follow-up, I've been using this cart consistently since purchasing and it has held up well. I still don't know how I'd manage without it!

I am not sure if my issue is due to the shipping company, or the manufacturer, but my product came after 2 weeks, with NO OUTSIDE packaging, and no directions for assembly. I didn't think i would need directions, but i was unable to attach the front wheels, which i think may also be due to the fact that it came missing parts. It seems like a sturdy, reliable product, but i wouldn't really know since mine is still in pieces on my living room floor. Considering i paid around $50 (including shipping) for this, i am not a happy customer. I do not recommend ordering from this seller. Even if the issues i have are due to the shipping company, the manufacturer should use a dependable company to get its products to their consumers.

These wheels rock! After going through 2 sets of plastic wheels with a different cart, I was really pleased to find this cart with much sturdier metal spoked wheels. It was easy to assemble (just the wheel parts needed to be put on). My husband uses it most for groceries and we go about a mile or so back with a full cart. He tells me it wheels well and handles the crummy parts of the sidewalk well.

We use these carts for our residents to carry groceries, the size is great, maneuvers fairly well, my only complaint/suggestion to the manufacturer is the front wheels start to wobble and the cotter pins snap or fall out, causing the wheel to fall off. We put new sturdier cotter pins in and they're good. Overall a great cart.

My review, the day I received the order, Sept. 14th, 2012. After long and careful thoughts about buying the right shopping cart on Amazon, I decided to go with this 'Easy Wheel' brand despite the number of mix reviews. I took the risk. Well, I chose this brand because I compared reviews with other brands on Amazon, I wanted a black shopping cart, and a shopping cart that has rubber wheels for rough city pavement/cobblestones. I purchased the cart and got it fast within a few days...surprisingly left at my city apartment doorstep (unusual delivery than the norm). The shopping cart came in a large rectangular flat cardboard box and seen better days (bit of a rough shape). The second thing I noticed right away was the HEAVY stench of mothballs coming from the package...I have to say, WOW! I brought the package inside the house to open it fully to inspect any damage and to check for missing parts. When I say the package smells like mothballs, I really mean it! The customer reviews are right on this one and this is before I open the box. After opening the package, the smell was too much for me to put the cart together. I had to finish unwrapping the shopping cart on my deck. Than left the flimsy/smelly cardboard box and shopping cart outside to air out for a week or so (hopefully the fumes will go away). I did check for parts and everything seem to be there from instructions to hardware except two small springs for the front wheels. The missing springs did not bother me at all because I can purchase this at my local hardware store. So I am lucky that most of the parts are present in my order. Besides getting a chance to assemble the shopping cart right away due to the smell, I honestly can't tell you if the shopping cart is sturdy enough and if it actually can hold 150lbs. By the looks, the feel and opening the cart fully, I very much doubt it can hold 150lbs. It is kinda of a cheapy wire shopping cart but looks like it can manage light errands. I basically will use it for laundry and light shopping from point A to point B which I wanted. So I wasn't expecting a Mercedes of shopping cart. I think this will do just fine for my needs as long as it last a couple of years. If not, than I got what I paid for... another piece of junk made in China! Best to wash down the entire cart/rubber wheels with mild soap and water to get any factory chemical residue off the shopping cart. Unfortunately, the staff at my hardware store says the rubber wheels and plastic handle will smell bad for awhile. It's very common apparently. The odor is strong fumigants (such as mothballs pack with export items) added to the shipping container/products to kill bugs such as longhorn beetles and other stuff that factories don't want to import into other countries. This explains the smell most common in Chinese products.***I hope my review helps for finding the right shopping cart for you. Good luck!

The odor is so strong that you can smell it before you open the box. Probably harmful emissions. It comes in a huge box, which was left on my porch. Box stinks too.Putting it together was an irritating task.Worst of all, It is not manueverable. The front wheels don't swivel, you have to raise the front wheels up off the floor and swivel the cart on its back wheels to turn around. Buy a cart with swivel wheels.It's flimsy. I don't believe it will support 150 lbs. The frame is no thicker than a cheap wire coat hanger. Bendable. Also there is a PLASTIC SLEEVE (grip) around the cart handle. It slides down and around the handle. I have to keep pulling it back in place.Don't buy this cart!

The item arrived bent, even though the box it was shipped was huge, much bigger than the item. Putting the cart together took like 20 minutes, not the clearest instructions. What I really dislike though is that the item which was shipped was black, the picture was clearly a green, light green cart and the item shipped was black. The picture did not match the item ordered, I went back and now I notice the item says black but the image for the item is light green. Make sure to verify the item you are ordering is labeled the correct color because the picture may not match the color you want to order. The quality of the cart is very cheap, I bought this item to replace my current cart and I will say this is a very cheap replacement. The item feels very poor quality, very cheap construction, and the plastic on the handle is very cheap also. All in all, I will not bother shipping this huge box for the cost of the hassle of the refund, but I WOULD NOT HAVE PURCHASED THIS CART if I had seen it in person. I recommend you keep looking for a better cart.
