Works on SKS
I used this on my SKS and it fits well on the bayonet mount. You cannot leave the bayonet on. It is a little too loose but serviceable.

It's a keeper.
The Good: I like the hefty leg-lock design. Also it's a LOT lighter on the rifle than I anticipated (aluminum). Most other bipods are too heavy (steel or steel components). Not so good: It's a little short for bench shooting. I had to file (and repaint) the tongue a bit to get it to go into place on the bayonet mount my SKS 56.Verdict: It's better than most of the always-too-flimsy bipod competitors... and does the job, so I'll definitely keep it.

Meh
The bipod fit my old bayonet mount perfectly and tight. It's solid and sturdy at that point. The biggest issue is legs. They are very loose and flop around because the spring between them does not have enough "umph" behind it to keep them fully balanced and sticking out. With time, patience, and a custom spring I had to make this has became a good bipod, but out the box it was almost not worth it.

Tight fit
Tight fitt on my Norinco SKS, used the bayonet screw instead of the one that it came with and used the one that it came with to hold the bayonet into place for future use? lolFor 20 bucks I don't really want to see any complaints.... seems sturdy and decently built, especially for the price, if it breaks a year later, oh well.. I think I got my moneys worthWill do an update after I run a few hundred rounds

Tight fit.
I had to remove a little material from the hole because the hole was smaller than the bayonet screw was I did not use the screw that comes with this I had the screw that was used with the bayonet. I use my SKS for hunting at long range so I can't see why I would ever use a bayonet on a deer. But a bipod I do.I don't need to get a barrel clamping one and that makes me happy.

Megh...it works
Bayonette lug is threaded, and the screw provided threads perfectly....except it's TOO long. The head of the screw hangs back about a half inch...trip to the hardware store outta fix that issue...I'm pleased, overall.
