Driver Recovery Products Winch Accessory Set with 10-Ton Snatch Block, 10 Foot Tree Strap and Quick Connector Kit

I must admit I was a little nervous about placing the order given the lack of reviews for this product and a complete lack of reviews for Driver Recovery Products in general on the web, but since this kit had exactly what I was looking for..a Tree saver strap, a heavy snatch block and high amperage quick disconnects...for about the price for any one of the items with a comparable load rating, I went ahead and took the risk. All of the other kits I found had a bunch of nonsense that i didn't need, like reflective vests or gloves, D-rings and such, and none of them had the quick disconnects, which is what i was most after, and they were generally at least twice as expensive. They just arrived today and I thought I'd give my first impressions. First off, the seller shipped the parts out the day after i ordered them and they were on my doorstep three days later...very fast and efficient service. All of the items have considerable heft and compare favorably with items of the same type from more familiar names that I've used and handled in the past. The picture does not do justice to the snatch block...this thing is HEAVY DUTY, made from 1/4 inch thick steel, the pulley itself is about 4" in diameter, and it has a grease fitting so you can keep it moving freely the hole at the top is approximately 2 inches in diameter. The connectors are just what I wanted and come with the covers..other brands were over 80 bucks for 350 amp connectors without the covers which we're 15 bucks more. I'm planning on using these items with my 12000 pound off brand winch, and before I happened upon this set, I was afraid I was going to have to spend as much for the connectors and accessories as I did for the winch! I'm so relieved.Now that I've gotten my feet wet and had a satisfactory experience with the seller, I'm going to order another set of connectors to build up a 20' jumper cable for occasions where I have to mount the winch in the rear receiver...200 bucks if you buy one from the big names, now I should be able to build it for about 70.

The strap is heavier then I expected. The snatched block is very heavy. The disconnects are what they all are. Very much worth the money. Wish it came with a bag but other then that it's a great kit.

Very good item for the price...the snatch block is very high quality as is the tree saver...my only complaint is that the quick release, although well made, was not really needed, would have preferred if they included a pair of gloves or a D-Ring instead...also the bag it comes in isn't really a bag, it looks more like a winch cover, which it may very well be...its just heavy canvas with a rubber lining around the top.

Great products at a great price. I did not crimp the 2 ga wire into the lugs I used my propane torch to solder it. My calcs show that it should be very secure just soldered in. Have not used the pulley or strap yet but they appear to be good quality.

like the others, I was hesitant when I stumbled onto this deal... but it turns out to be just as described and that is awesome. As soon as I finish this review I'm going to re-order this. Great price, fast shipping and the quality of products is solid. Can't beat it!

Nice kit. Needed the QD's for my install and couldn't pass on essentially getting the strap for free.

Great looking kit. Haven't used it yet. But after i do ill re-rate it. But til then its every bit of useful at the moment.
