MaternaBelt FlexaMed Adjustable Pregnancy and Back Brace 8 Inch - X-Large

I am currently 23 weeks pregnant with twins and trying to put off bed rest! I am currently measuring 30 weeks pregnant. I work full time as a nurse so I'm on my feet doing a fairly labor intensive job 40+ hours a week. I purchased this thinking I would fit it and it would grow with me; however, I am 5'11", 200 pounds and about a size 12-14 prior to pregnancy and it isn't the case. I only add that because I looked for those things in reviews when I was purchasing support belts. I am naturally an hour glass figure so the upper portion doesn't support anything it just sits there awkwardly. I do feel that the band does make a difference in my walking throughout the day. I will also say that it does slightly help my lower back pain. I feel that if I were less curved in the middle it would most likely be a better fit for me. I hope I grow into the support portion as I grow because it seems like a very well made product. It's not too cumbersome, but it does seem more comfortable when worn over something (between layers). It isn't the easiest thing to clean either due to the Velcro not being very forgiving. As stated before, hopefully this product is something I can grow into later for more support.

X-Large is more in line with a typical pregnancy, with a very normal starting weight. It's size would not be able to support a twins or multiple pregnancy as it claims.

This belt has been everything I've been looking for. I need the extra support with this pregnancy and it offers relief on my lower back as well as taking some of the pressure off of my hips. I needed to exchange the x-large for a smaller size, but FlexMed made the exchange very easy and I was met with exceptional customer service. The belt takes a little bit to get used to as it reminds you to maintain good posture, but I am finding that I can walk farther and last longer on my feet with the extra support it provides. It's also easy to fold up in my purse, and wear it as needed. I have two herniated discs in my lower back, and I can say this belt offers much more comfort and support than the wimpier varieties!

I followed the size guidelines which showed I should purchase an XL. It was too large, and I had to return it. This belt is much more narrow in the front than in the back. The wider back was actually nice for support, however, the front was too narrow to offer the support that I needed at eight months pregnant. It wasn't the worst maternity belt I have purchased or tried, but it sure wasn't the best. Looking at the picture I am realizing that I was not sent the belt that is depicted. My belt was ALL white, and the front of my belt was much more narrow than the belt pictured. Not acceptable.

I am so pleased with my purchase of this item. I'm expecting boy/girl twins in a couple months & the weight of them was pulling my tummy muscles & causing me a lot of pain & discomfort. I looked through MANY listings for support belts but most of them were for back pain..which I actually don't have a problem with..YET! ;) I read the 1 and only review of this product & the manufacturers description & noticed it's for large, twin, or multiple babies & helps with the abdomen muscles from pulling. They weren't kidding! It's been the best investment during my pregnancy & I really don't think I could make it the rest of the way without this product..Best investment I've made in a long time! Very satisfied all around :)

While carrying twins this was my life saver, working fast food on my feet for nearly 6 hours straight the pressure Id feel at the end of the day was horrendous, but I ordered one of these and it saved my day. If you have a big baby belly you need one of these, great price, decent quality(had some issues with the velcro sticking to the rest of the band where it shouldnt) but I meanI cannot complain. This kept my twins in the oven 36 weeks. 👏👏👏 tip: wear a thin cami underneath so it doesnt bither ur skin.

Purchased this for my pregnant daughter who is 32 weeks pregnant, who is a nanny to twin boys and is having some pretty severe back pain. She was thrilled to get this and started wearing it immediately. She was able to walk her 2 Great Danes while wearing this with no pain. I would highly recommend this!

My daughter loved it.
