Great plaque for your door. Our door is dark purple and the plaque looks especially nice on it. I could not pound the nails into my front door. Instead at my daughter's request, I used gold Sharpie to color a tiny piece of paper and attached it to the back to cover the holes and I use adhesive putty  Saunders UHU Tac Removable Adhesive Putty Tabs, 2.1 oz. (99683) to make it stick to the door. Worked great. I had to pry it off once, and I can tell you that it's not about to fall off unexpectedly..

I believe this is a lovely housewarming gift. My recipient loved it very much. It is colorful,unassuming,and yet catches the eye. Amazon was so helpful in getting it to my recipient and actually preparing the way for me to view it and buy it. It makes a reallyimportant statement for a home owner. Thank you,Amazon

This was supposed to be a gift. Way too small must be for elf doors! would not recommend.

Colorful-an eyecatcher to all visitors! Sturdy and well crafted. This item is an affordable, definitely not a run-of- the mill , unusual gift for anyone. I particularly like the name of the company stamped on the inside. It reminds us that home is "holy ground".. I'm very happy with this purchase and so is the family who received it for their new home.
