Excellent blade for plywood
I used this blade in my table saw to build my kitchen cabinets. It is a fantastic blade for plywood. Perfect cuts, no tear out. Used it for to break down and dimention 18 sheets of 3/4" Cherry ply and 10 sheets of 1/4" cherry ply. Still a lot of life left in the blade. Well worth the cost.

Great for plywood
I had a plywood project and I thought I would try a made for plywood blade. It works great. I don’t know what glue they made the plywood with but after a while the blade was not cutting as good as it did. I cleaned the blade and it was back to like new.

Less tear out and burning
The original blade on my Dewalt track saw was fine until I started using it on solid maple stair treads. It left burn marks on both cross cuts and some rip cuts, and noticeable tear out on edges not protected by the zero clearance strip on the track. This blade has the same tooth count and very similar hook angle but seems to cut much cleaner. It’s not perfect, but seems worth the money so far.

Cuts like a dream
It's a blade so fine it won't leave a splinter. Cuts through wood while keeping cool like winter. Not a single burn mark left behind. Through pretty much everything it glides. I choose this blade over the Festool. You would too unless you're a fool... or just like spending extra money. They're fairly comparable.

Very good blade for TS 55 -- But CHECK THE TEETH ASAP!
I originally bought this Freud blade just to see how it compared to the Festool blade.Out of ignorance, I foolishly used my TS 55 and the stock blade to cut a few pieces of laminate flooring. After that, my Festool blade cut terribly and would smoke and bog down in 3/4" plywood. I did some research and found that the laminate flooring will ruin carbide saw blades--there are several stories on the Festool Owners Group site where others discuss doing the same thing with both their TS and Kapex saws. In my case it was a TS 55 and a DeWalt miter saw.At the time, I didn't know I had ruined my Festool blade--just that it could barely cut through plywood. So last weekend, I removed my dull Festool blade and put in this Freud blade. It cut through the plywood like butter. Zero smoke. Very little effort required to push the saw--I just helped it along and it floated along the track. The Freud blade was fantastic. However, with those positive comments, I had to immediately return the first Freud blade I received. After receiving it, I just happened to look at the teeth. Something about one of the teeth looked odd, like it was cut at a different angle. After looking closer, I saw that the carbide was chipped. 1/4 of the tooth was missing. I looked at the rest of the blade, and found another tooth that was chipped, missing 1/2 of the tooth. The blade obviously didn't get proper QA. I have many other Freud blades and bits that I love, and have never seen anything like this.I returned the blade the same day back to Amazon, and they shipped me a replacement right away. The new blade is perfect and works great. If you order any of the Freud Festool blades, make sure to carefully inspect all of the teeth. But I highly recommend this blade for the TS 55--don't listen to the Festool accolytes that say you should only use Festool blades. For the price, the Freud blade works well for me.

Blade is great perfect for 6-1/2” track saw but blade isn’t 6-1/2”
Blade is great perfect for 6-1/2” track saw but blade isn’t 6-1/2” It’s just over 6”. The arbor size is larger on a track saw so you’re not able to use a standard $12.99 Freud blade. But this fit my Dewalt 60v track saw and the blade is very smooth with really no tear out. You’re just going to lose some cut depth

Flawless cutting on Melamine laminate shelving
I had to trim a bunch of RTA Melamine shelving corner shelves to fit into an odd-sized corner between other installed shelving units. I'm a relative newbie in working with Melamine laminate, and wanted to ensure there was no tearout or chipping. This saw blade, combined with a double cut method, resulted in perfect cuts - as flawless as the factory cuts.I used a Skil Mag77 circular saw, with an aluminum saw guide I clamped to the piece being cut the correct distance from the cut line to put the cut on the line (3-11/16" for the Mag77). I first set the blade depth for a scoring cut, just through the top layer of Melamine - approximately 1/32" to 1/16" deep. Using a scoring cut like this ensures a very shallow angle of the teeth to the cut surface, which is a key to eliminate chipping and tearout. Then, after making the scoring cut, without changing the guide setup, I changed the cutting depth to the thickness of the shelving plus half a tooth height - for 3/4" shelving, this was about 7/8" to 15/16". Having no more than half a tooth height greater cut depth creates the same shallow angle of the teeth to the other Melamine surface, avoiding chips and tearout on that side.If trimming more than an inch or so, have some kind of support for the cutoff piece, as the weight of the overhanging piece will cause it to break away when getting close to the end on the second (full depth) cut, and can create a small tearout. After this happened once, I solved it by creating a support using a Quick Grip clamp as a temporary support for the overhanging piece being cut off.Very happy with the blade and the results.

Great blade for Formica
I bought the blade expressly to cut a Formica countertop bonded to particle board and used it successfully. I flipped the countertop over and cut it with the Formica side down using a 7 1/4 inch circular side drive Skil saw. The countertop was approximately 11/4 inch thick but 2 inches thick with the facing on two sides, so I used 3/4 inch scrap to build a saw sled level to the sides. I used painters tape to cover the cut line on the Formica The continuous cut therefore started on one side through Formica, then the upside down countertop, and exited through the other side. The blade performed perfectly and much better than my expectations after reading up online by Googling. This appeared to be the most commonly recommended blade. There was no chipping and the edge was very smooth. I used 220 grit sandpaper to lightly buff the edge and remove slight residue with a final result that was excellent. I was tremendously pleased.

Great
Fitted in Makita SP6000J, tested on plywood, very nice finish. Compensate depth of cut by adding 7-8 mm to gauge. For preliminary cut, set depth to 8 mm. Cuts better than original blade at slower speed. Recommended.
