Crunchy, Mild Heat, Good Flavor
Every kimchi is different, so it is hard to use a review for something so based on personal taste to make a decision. Having said that, this is what I'd have wanted to know before purchasing the first time to help me decide.Flavor: I thoroughly enjoyed it. I consider myself fairly picky about kimchi - either I love it or hate it. This was a plus for me, but everyone's opinion is different, you'll only know if you try it.Heat: This is marketed as medium heat, but I would consider it pretty mild. If you are accustomed to spicy foods, you probably will consider it mild as well. If you favor mild heat, you'd probably be fine with this amount.Cabbage: Some reviews dislike the fact that Napa cabbage is not used, only free cabbage. I have had numerous varieties of green, Napa, and combinations. The quality was quite good and had a lot of crunch. Some people prefer longer marinating/fermenting which softens the cabbage before jarring. To me, the flavor is more important than crunching. In your mouth, it crunches like slaw moreso than saurkraut, if that makes sense.Fermentation/Probiotics: If you include kimchi in your diet for the probiotic benefits of fermented vegetables, then you might be looking here. I can't comment on that directly other than to say that opening the jar each time does release that "pop" of gasses being released by the continued fermentation. So, I can only assume it is comparable to other such products.Long story short, I liked it quite a bit. Give it a try if the elements above appeal to you.

Fresh and Affordable
I've been eating this product for a few months and havn't had a bad batch. It's fresh and affordable. If I'd like it less spicy or strong I mix it with warm vegetables. The heat makes it milder. Also, eating kimchi helps if you're having digestion problems. It contains digestive enzymes to help you break down your food. When I'd like help with that, I eat a small amount of raw kimchi in between meals. Great product!

Not Bad, but Probably not for Everyone
First off, this is a vegan product. For that reason, I am scratching my head at some of the reviews, because it obviously would taste different. It doesn't have the usual fishy taste, which I don't mind. However, I am trying to avoid any kimchi with shrimp in it, and this looked like the safest option. To be honest, I was prepared to hate this, but I would actually buy it again. Maybe it isn't your mother's kimchi, but for me it is good enough.

Choppy Kimchi
If you're expecting larger pieces, you will be disappointed because the texture is more shredded. The flavor is very nice. Kimchi is pricy, so it's important to make sure it's what you like/want.

Non-traditional, but tasty.
Tastes great, but not traditional like I get in the Korean market. I like most anything fermented or vinegary so it worked for me.

Nice grocery store option
I like this for a grocery store kimchi. Granted it’s not like traditional that I get from Korean store but at least it’s not too carbonated like some store night. I think it’s regular green cabbage but it’s nice crunch. Kinda like a spicy kimchi sauerkraut .

Love this kimchi
I got used to Korean kimchi while living there. This one is the closest to the real thing O could find. It works great in kimchi soups or just as a snack
