The best stuff on the market for natural dying hair products. It can dry out the hair but if you use lots of coconut oil after you have applied it, during several washes it will gradually come out and not be as drying. I use coconut oil that is super oily to maintain the dryness. It do not last as long due to this fact. I apply it every 2 months to just my edges and every 6 months to my entire head it would last for 2 months on each occasion. I used perm dye and a rinse before which are chemical based and was taxing on my hair. I lost hair using those products but with this natural product it retains have and conditions it initially, it do promote a nice shine but is drying, go figure but with coconut oil it is perfect for me. I finally found something to cover grey that is natural. Beware!! there are 2 types of this product on the market, the other is a chemical base. It has the same box but different words. The words on the box needs to read as seen here.. Conditioner. I am sensitive to chemicals so I cannot use the other type they make. The arrival time for shipping was awesomely fast.

Reshma Femme Black turned out out great. I gave it 4 stars because it didn't cover all of my gray hairs but the color was very rich! The box says 30 minutes but the instructions inside says differently. 30 minutes to condition. 1 to 3 hours to color. Try it when you have the time. I will purchase again.

The product itself is good, but apparently the amount was not enough to cover my entire head. It was tricky to apply, simply because it was my first time with ayurvedic hair treatments. It also took me a while to rinse all out though.Over all good product.

Love love this conditioner. I use it for hair color also. It does not cover the gray edges well. It does color the rest of the hair. The hair feels so soft and silky after using. Will buy again.

didn't really do black very well. maybe needed two boxes, hard to distribute over hair. daughter's hair is very thick, long and curly, though.

made my scalp all itchy, I have used this brand but not this color, did not work well.

I have also used Nupur 9 herbs henna, which is great, but I like my hair to be natural black to blue black. My natural color is a #2 to #4 (light to medium brown). I mix in a little lemon juice, black coffee, then apply. It is easy to apply and rinse. My hair comes out natural to jet black with this, and the color lasts a LONG time for me since I don't shampoo very often.I like this because doing a separate henna and indigo application (2 step process) is way too labor intensive for me, and I don't like the time it takes to get it done. I like to leave my henna on overnight when I use Nupur, but Reshma has been a favorite of mine for the last 4-5 years. I will continue to buy it and it definitely thickens hair and smooths curls. I noticed this with just one application. I'm African-American/multi-racial with 3c/4a hair that is tailbone length. This is one of the best healthy (but not too time-consuming) ways I have found to darken my hair to black. The scent is not too strong, and the sift is beautifully silky. I first began using Reshma in 2012. I hope they never stop marketing this product because it really is a wonderful thing for my hair.
