Item is a flimsy for the price, it's not brass, it is a black with a gold speckled finish. I am going to spray it black in hopes that it will help it looks a little less cheap.

tasteful wall decor
well designed and the contrast between the color of the hands and the open face makes the time display very visible. However, the hour hand has suddenly gone limp and is not moving a mere eight months after purchase.

it is lovely, sturdy and had held up well
i bought this quite a while ago and never wrote a review. but am pleased to say, the clock is lovely still. it is outdoors and it continues to work perfectly well and it looks as good as it did on day one. and i live in Miami where it is subjected to heat and heavy rain and wind. I am very pleased. Highly recommended.
