Not great quality
I bought these to use at a county shelter. Within a day or two of wearing them they curl in on themselves and blur the writing on them.

For vet only
Dog breeder here. These work amazing for vet checks, writing their name on the tag, my vet loves them so she knows who is who and makes everything so much easier. That is the only time I use these they would be too uncomfortable to keep on for more than a few hours.

Good for Rottie pups from 3weeks to 6 weeks
I am a novice breeder and this was my first litter. I had a litter of 8 Rottweiler pups born on Dec 2nd 2012. They were whelped from my imported female from Belgium. When they were born it was easier to identify who was who, but as they grew, this was becoming more and more difficult. As you would know Rotties come in one standard colour, and I had a pretty uniform litter. I researched on the best way to ID/Tag them, since tying a ribbon around their necks wasn't working. The ribbon would be off by the next day. I saw this product on Amazon and decided to give it a try. It's true, I had 8 pups and there are only 6 colours in the set, but with 5 males and 3 females it was easier to duplicate 2 of the colours on the females. Another handy feature is the Sharpie it comes with. My wife and I had "home" names for the puppies so we were able to write the names on, also she drew a heart on the male puppy's id and a flower on the female's. This made identification even easier, especially with the two similar colours. Yes, it is made out of paper, but holds up remarkably well, even when the pups have grown their full teeth! Between 3 to 6 weeks of age I recommend using them, after this you may want to invest in something a bit sturdier, like a nylon collar with velcro. Also, it comes in multiple collars for each individual colour. I have enough remaining for my next litter, even though I changed them every week, and twice on week 6.The glue tab is excellent, it never came apart with the puppies tugging on it! I would be definitely using these on my next litter, and would reccomend them to any serious breeder.

Easy on. Strong but no sharp edges
I’m a puppy breeder. Bought my first set of these 10 yrs ago. So you see I’m not a puppy mill. Finally ran out of some colors and tried the newer types on the market. Can’t beat these for ease of applicationDon’t forget to change them on puppies every week our little fur babies grow so fast! They work nice on newborn 4oz puppies right thru adult.

and the adhesive on the strips is very good, too
The only problem with this product that I ran into was that 10" strips really only fit very small animals so I sometimes have to double-up. But that's really just my inability to estimate how large a strip some of my puppies might require. The included pen works well to write on the strip, and the adhesive on the strips is very good, too. The strips do twist and fold fairly quickly, but they don't come off without coercion (other puppies' teeth, or scissors).

Puppy id's in many colors
I just had my first liter. It is great that they have an assortment of colors. They are made of paper and the stick part sticks really well. I have noticed that a few of them slid off the pups necks and went around the waist of the puppy. I think I just need more skills on how to put them on. Other than that they are worth it. You cant beat the price.

Great for identification
I used these bands and found them to work really well. My puppies all weighed 4+ ounces so I cut them in half the long way to make them more size appropriate. It also allowed me to have another back up to change to as they got bigger. Since my puppies were sold before they were old enough to leave their mommy, the new families felt comfortable to know their new companion wore an orange, blue, or green band etc. around their neck since all were solid white puppies. I will buy them again if and when I run out.
