Healthy Dog Treats - Cod Skin (Rolls - 120g)

3 very happy dogs here enjoying their crispy fish skins. I’m going to have to assume they are tasty as I’m afraid I don’t want to eat it myself. I think the fish skins have got to be one of the healthiest dog treats as they are completely natural and good for their teeth, not to mention are also low calorie and a great source of the good ole omegas. Dogs love them

This is great for dogs with allergies like my dog.He loves them and they are my go to treat as he can't have most dental chews.They are a few issues. When wet they release a very potent fish odour - I don't mind but guests have mentioned it. They also tend to drop fish scales like it's going out of fashion. You may need to vaccum after.Finally it gets quite like raw hide. When wet and chewed it becomes flexible and can easily choke your dog - almost exactly like raw hide can. You can get clip weights to prevent some of that but you can't beat supervision.If your dog has sensitive teeth or a death wish though you can cut it (with a bit of force) down to smaller less suffocating size.

My dogs hate having their teeth brushed so a good cleaning chew is a must for them. I had been giving them chicken's feet but they were too rich for one of my dogs so I had to seek out an alternative.These cod sticks are great and keep my dogs occupied for ages. Yes, they do smell a little but it's not too offensive.[and all the human occupiers are vegetarian]I do wish they were easier to cut so they lasted longer and that they were a little cheaper but the latter is more to do with being on a tight budget than because they're not worth it.No upset tummies as yet so I feel we're onto a winner.

We have a rescue dog who is allergic to everything! She can't have chicken or beef or duck or most things contained in treats. I felt bad as none of the dogs got treats as I couldn't find anything suitable for our rescue. These cod skin sticks are absolutely perfect! All the dogs love them, they are quite long lasting too. I was worried about the smell but it really is minimal and nothing to worry about. Would highly recommend them and I am sure if you asked the dogs they would recommend them too!

Flavour must be good my dog loves them. She loves the scent too! They are expensive but worth it. You can easily cut them in half for a small dog and they keep my girl's gums and teeth clean and healthy. God for the coat and skin too and not too fattening which is great if you're watching the calories!

Once the bag was open it smelt of fish but l expected that. Dogs just did not like them.

They do really stink but I can put up with them as my GSD and chiauhua love them. The GSD has a sensitive tummy but these don't cause any issues, great for treat and easy way for keeping teeth clean
