My only issue is the app. It may be my phone, but I occasionally miss notifications from the doorbell. Other than that it works very well.

Do yourself a big favour and do not get this bell, which has an app that is not fit to purpose. Ever since we installed the bell, our life became a misery. It keeps ringing with no one out at the door (see picture - the orange lines are 'activity', but I went to the door and there was none...), even when we set up the sensitivity to 'Low' it keeps ringing and ringing. When someone is at the door, it takes ages to load the app, so by the time you speak to them they are gone... The app updated automatically (cannot choose not to), and since then my husband's setting would not respond at all. The app got 2 stars out of 5 on the app shop, but I think it is much too generous as it is so useless that it should get a 0... Not happy...:(

I thought i was going to be more secure with this Bell and it would look the part alongside my new door. However, the motion detection is totally out of sync with my phone and doesn't register to alert me till at least a minute passes after detection, and then when i look to identify the persons they have already moved from my door (as in postman and such) I wouldn't have given this Bell only two stars had there been a way for me to rewind and look back when using the app but i just couldn't do it, may be i haven't set it up right, who knows? Anyway i didn't send this product back as i wanted it also for the touch bell on the outside of the house, and to be fair looks good if anything else . Perhaps i will find a way of correcting the timing of the sensor and be able to view past video images and then come back to change my review sometime in the future. .

The bell was easy to set up and install, the picture quality is very clear and the night picture quality is also very good. I set the PIR at low when I first set up, but found that when the postie came to the door or anyone walking past would set the doorbell alert off on the UBell app on your phone. I found it best to keep the PIR switched off as this stopped the issue, the instruction manual did warn me off this.After about 17 days of using the Sdeter doorbell, I went onto my App to take a look at the picture from my front door bell and found that the bell was no longer working. Not sure what is wrong but I have tried setting it all up again and the bell will not power up at all. I have tried charging the batteries up I have tried lots of things but all have failed, the bell will not switch on and I cannot set it up on the app.I have contacted Amazon and they have given me a full refund, now I do not know whether to replace the bell with the same bell, as the bell when it was working was really great in all ways. Maybe if the manufacturer if they read this they could advise me on what the problem may be and how to rectify the problem. I also feel that Amazon who were going to have the bell returned could have offered a replacement bell as well, and have the bell retuned and then maybe sent on to the manufacturer to investigate why the bell failed after such a short time in service. In the end Amazon advises me not to return the item and refunded me my money.

I decided to purchase this doorbell as I have limited mobility and thought I would help me with answering the door. Usually by the time I get there I'm watching them drive away. My partner set it up and attached it to our front door. From the start this doorbell was pathetic. The biggest problem was no chime unit so u had no idea if anyone was there. I couldn't trust the app as it pretty much failed to ring when the doorbell was pressed. The camera and mic were ok but the app was a big let down. I returned this unit for a refund and purchased an Accfly unit with a chime and it's been perfect. Avoid this product as it doesn't work at all

Even with motion detection set to high sensitivity the bell did not always recognise when people walking up to it. Possibly this works best if the motion is across the field of view and not towards it.Despite having a good signal strength at the front door there was often a long delay between the bell being rung and the notification coming through. This would perhaps not have been a major problem, but despite being wired into the bell circuit it did not ring our mechanical chime. I bought this bell because it said it could be wired into the existing doorbell and fully expected it to operate the chime.When the bell had not been active for some time it sometimes took several seconds to reconnect from the phone app.The video quality is excellent both day and night, but the poor response times make this bell pretty useless as a primary doorbell.
