This cover is thick enough to protect. It has elastic straps to secure to the stirrups in the back that help it stay in place.

Perfect fit for my roping saddle. Color matches the picture. Nice and thick material. The elastic that holds it down is nice and sturdy.

I'm very happy with this cover. I have a 15 inch leather barrel saddle and I wanted something to help keep it clean in the tack room and trailer. This works really well. It is a bit large for a 15 but i use it to also cover my saddle blanket and cinches as well.The rear straps are very long so it's easy to cover both a saddle and pad together and still be able to take them off easily! The fender covers do seem a bit short if you have long legs and want your stirrups covered as well but all in all this is a pretty great cover if you aren't looking for anything fancy

My daughter was leaving for college in Montana to do a Natural Horsemanship program with her horse. They told her that a small tack room would be in the covered stall. Me being overprotective and over prepared, ordered one against her wishes. ;) Boy was she glad when a huge snow storm came and blew 3’ snow in everyone’s tack rooms! Everyone else was jealous that she had dry tack! What a life saver!! Favorite saddles are hard to replace, not to mention expensive. Highly recommended! Also great for keeping the dust off during the dry months.

Very nice for price and seem well made, could be little thicker but they seem like they’ll do fine. May goal was to keep dust off saddle in barn and keep it dry going to arena

Love it but it’s huge on my 14in saddle. Fits fine on the 17in saddle though as well as my 14in barrel saddle because of the high cantle
