The Alternative-Metal, Death-Metal quintet DevilDriver came to life in 2002 in Santa Barbara, California USA, fronted by the charismatic vocalist Dez Fafara; a veteran of the NuMetal movement, Fafara has been toiling in the trenches of the music industry since 1994 with his previous band Cold Chamber. Originally signed to Roadrunner Records, the group also featured guitarists Jeffrey Kendrick and Evans Pitts, bassist Jon Miller and drummer John Boecklin. Produced by former Machine Head guitarist Logan Mader, their fourth offering, "Pray For Villains", found DevilDriver rocking as brutally as ever; in July 2009 the album debuted at #35 on The Billboard 200 even surpassing first-week sales of the band's previous outing.

Álbum sin ñoñerías!
No se porque extraña razón conocí a Devildriver demasiado tarde. Conocí a Coal Chamber cuando sacó su primer álbum allá por los 90's y poco a poco les fui perdiendo la pista y nunca supe que su vocalista formó Devildriver, hasta que un compañero de trabajo me habló de ellos , los escuché y lógicamente me gustaron .Y Amazon hizo el resto de la magia.Encontré este álbum a buen precio y lo compré sin dudarlo.Es poderoso , diferente a Coal Chanber pero cañero , es un metal más actual , potente, la voz de Fafara suena más brusca , más enfadada .Un disco agresivo , sin baladas sin ñoñerías... Mola!

De los discos remasterizados que para mí, són los mejores de su carrera, luego han empezado a cambiar el estilo y ya han me han dejado de gustar, supongo que el cambio de miembros en la banda habrá influido.
