My son is an advanced beginner and has been practicing with a butterfly type. I went to get more strings and noticed this one and decided to try it. HE LOVES IT! The 2-way feature of sleep makes it much easier to perform more advanced tricks! He's increased his skill 3 fold in a week since he got it, now doing Around the World, Cats Cradle, Walk the Ferret (lol) and more ;-) Can't speak to durability other than the fact that it often hits the ground at noticeable speed (YMMV) and hasn't broken yet! Nice product, arrived quickly even in Covid time and providing great non-screen distraction for the boy!

My son really likes the yoyo. He likes being able to switch it from responsive to unresponsive with just the switch.

I originally bought a few of these for my kids that lasted about 2 days. Cool for me though showing them the few tricks I remembered while bringing back cool memories from my childhood. I couldn't wait to get one for Christmas when I was a kid, we all had them. These phones we all have are ruining real childhood fun

Bought the Yomega Brain XP for myself to help my daughter learn to use her Yomega Brain and Yomega Spectrum, just as good as they were when I was a teenager and had a Yomega Brain and a Yomega Fireball.Excellent communication from Yomega, they sent me a pdf via e-mail and replied promptly to every e-mail I sent them in return, they really made me feel like a valued customer as opposed to a source of revenue on legs... very pleased, very impressed and definitely keen to do business with them again in the very near future!

Great yoyo for beginners. I accidentally bought a magnetar (a level 3 yoyo) and this is so much easier for me to use. The switch comes in handy as time goes on. I am between a level 1 & 2 so it lets me easily practice new stuff while also stay classic and have fun.

Overall appearance is good seems like it’s a durable yo-yo. It only sleeps for 10 seconds at best. Can’t really do around the world or rocking the cradle. I wouldn’t buy it again

I bought it for my boyfriend for Christmas and he absolutely loves it.. he walks around the house playing with it all the time...Works great

2020 so I am trying out lots of old hobbies to spend some time and feel productive. I used to be advanced back when I was a kid. Honestly I bought it not knowing if I would want a responsive or unresponsive. In retrospect I should have cross referenced the moves I wanted to pull off.The good:this yoyo does both and looks coolEasy to respin the string because of the mechanismThe bad:you are probably going to wack a few things which makes the durability unknown.There is no bearing. The axel is mounted because of the switch mechanism.The ugly:The sides are unevenly weighted because of the switch mechanism.I would recomend this anyone who is a beginner thinking they want to a dabble with an unresponsive yoyo. Somone younger would really make it work if it is a hobbie they enjoy. However if you are looking to pull off more advanced moves the spin time may disappoint you.I gave it three stars because it works but it won't be a stepping stone for most people. If you or the person you are buying it for are very timid in the way to progress and explore new things than it would be a 5 star product.If you know what you want but can be a bit indecisive don't make my mistake and fall for the intermediate label.
